Man is this stuff GOOD

I've been eating it, daily, for over a week now. Sometimes plain, sometimes with pita or lettuce. I'm too lazy to make so I buy from Costco, the 1 lb. package.

It's great stuff. I'm a big fan of all Syrian food, even though I hated it when I was a little kid.

My wife makes if for me twice a week, and I eat it nearly every day for lunch. Nothing compares with home made.

Seriously, I live off this. It's my absolute favorite kind of salad. The perfect lunch is: red wine, black olives, tabbouleh and lamb-stuffed grape leaves.

I like it. . . except when I try to make it myself. I used to a few blocks from a little deli that made fantastic tabouli, hummus, baba ganoush, etc. That really spoiled me. I tried making a lot of that stuff myself, but none of it ever tasted anywhere as good as the stuff from the deli.
