I just don't get the hate.

OK, it's not exactly tasteful ....but come on, do we always have to be soooo conservative and serious?

...but then, I am a big fan of Alessandro Mendini -- LOL

The bugatti and bentley were ugly and tacky to begin with so who cares, but the atrocities against the 300sl should be punishable by death. or at least castration.

Reminds me of a few pictures I saw of a car in Russia that had terminators all over it from the movies, in glow-in-the-dark paint. Except that was kinda cool...

Please tell me that's a replica. AMG shouldn't have refused to do anything but a complete 1:1 restoration. Putting a new engine in it is even more BS than the body art (that can be fixed easier).
