Tell me about them.

Cloves are much worse for you than tobacco cigarettes. Beyond that, I know nothing.

They smell and taste good though!

I dated a girl who smoked them. Making out with her tasted good.

Disgusting. Would rather have a Nat Sherman.

Cloves taste great and are really bad for you.

they, as already mentioned, cloves are waay terrible for you, and you will know it pretty quick. your lungs will feel tighter and after continuous use you'll cough up phlegm more often. sometimes even blood. clove smoke feels "thicker" than tobacco cigarettes. it gives you a much different kind of buzz that feels considerably more pleasurable. dangerous stuff, and i'd stay away all together if i were you. i smoked cloves for 4 years on and off. every time i'd finish a pack of djarums i would feel like crap and swear to quit. then a month or so i find myself stressed out or something and with another pack in hand. also they are expensive in the US. i used to buy them for 7-8.00/pack. in iraq they are 3.00/pack.

Cloves are wretched. Give me a pack of Botschafter cigarettes instead please.

I've yet to see anyone smoking clove cigarettes who was taken seriously.

They remind me of Bali, Indonesia. I used to smoke them just for the effect that they are exotic. I think the brand was Djarum.

well// they have the same effect... last longer... dont smell bad... have to be a bit careful while smoking cause more chances of spoiling your nylon clothing if you wearing any.. i have burnt most of my 3/4ths thanks to them...

In addition to Djarum, there are a few other popular brands in Indonesia that you could try (Gudang Garam's, for example), but they are harder to find in the States.

Gudang Garam has better quality than Djarum. They came in red boxes. I don''t find them in the States anymore.

I thought there were studies that showed that cloves weren't any worse for you than normal cigarettes?

Either way, I enjoy cloves a lot but I also like Nat Shermans...lately I've been rolling my own with Peter Stokkbye and Drum though, which I think beats everything.

I've been smoking about 3-4 Djarums a day for a couple of months now. Haven't really noticed any undesirable effects. At least no more than regular cigarettes. How quickly do you guys saying they make you feel like shit go through a pack?
