For the skin experts out there:
The initial and important step is determining what type of skin you have. Is it dry, oily, sensitive or combination skin? If you skin can't tolerate the alcohol content in skin toners, there are other skin toner products that does not contain alcohol. There are some European brands that are natural based and does not contain alcohol. Check out Dr. Hauschka, Anne Marie Borlind or Dr. Payot. The first two products you can find at a natural health food stores like Whole Foods, etc.
You have what would be categorized as 'combination' or "T-Zone" skin. Do you break out in these areas?I would suggest applying a clay mask at least once a week.

I actually never break out anymore, just get a bit oily after a while. I guess a powerful astringent might be appropriate for the T-Zone area, and some kind of clay mask once a week. There seem to be so many expensive ones out there. Any recs?
That's it! I'm logging off. Time to give my girlfriend her weekly facial.
I've used the Mario Bodescu daily masks before, they helped, but they were expensive and it was a pain to do it every night.
