!905 Saturday Evening Post, Some things change & some don't

Thread Starter
I came across some Saturday Evening Posts from 1905. I hadn't realized that it was originally founded by Benjamin Franklin.

It's amazing how some things change and some seem to not.

Here are some pictures for your bemusement:

Saturday Evening Post July 8th, 1905

Full Cover:

Masthead with "old Ben"

A well dressed gent in 1905 ( this could look good today )

Some traditionalists ( a homage to Sator! )

It was recommended not to dry clean your fine woolens 104 years ago:

Boy's shoes, $2.50!

A Pantherella of it's day:

A Colt ad of interest to JLibourel ( when gun prices were lower )

How many people have heard of Winston cars?

A 10 passenger Olds for $2,200. It might work today!

Look back and enjoy.

I used to live in a town, where the side of one of the brick buildings in the business district was painted with an old Winton cars ad. And it's Winton, there is no "s" in it.

However, my big toes look like I needed the Bates shoe for boys growing up
