iPod Question

So I bought a new 16GB nano, and I want to turn my old 8 GB nano into a running only iPod. To do this, I want to wipe out all the albums, and start over by loading only specific songs. I don't like running and having Stairway to Heaven start playing when I am halfway up a hill, kills the motivation. What I want to do is wipe the old nano clean, and only reload a specific playlist onto it. However, when I try to sync with only the new playlist, I get an error that I don't have enough space.. Its as if I am not only loading the new playlist but keeping all 1,200 songs or whatever that were already there. Is there a quick way to essentially wipe my iPod clean and start over with one playlist? I know this has got to be easy and someone will have a 2 or 3 sentence answer that will save me searching the FAQ at Apple..

This is actually very simple and doesn't require a hammer. But in the end, Tokyo Slim's word is all that matters.

You have to use a gold sledgehammer though, or you might damage your iPod.

ilounge.com easy to understand tutorials for anything ipod To remove a song, video, or other item from iPod nano: 1 In iTunes, select iPod nano in the source list. 2 Select a song or other item on iPod nano and press the Delete or Backspace key on your keyboard. If you manually remove a song or other item from iPod nano, it isn’t deleted from your iTunes library.

un-tick auto-sync and go manual. Or, just leave auto-sync for purchased items, if you buy from iTMS.

Also, don't forget http://www.apple.com/support/ipodnano/ for all the answers to everything.

See, I would have pinned my avatar as "child molester" not raging homo. But whatever.

Odds are that he's wearing leather pants and drives a t-top 1970's thunderbird either way.

He is too 'groovy' for your average child molester. The chap knows how to cut a rug. Add that to the divine looking stache and you've got yourself a homosexual dreamboat.
