"Why did I sign with the Nationals? When you go to a club at 4 in the morning, and you're just waiting, waiting, a 600-pounder looks like J-Lo. And to me this is Jennifer Lopez right here. It's 4 in the morning. Too much to drink. So, Nationals: Jennifer Lopez to me."

I can't believe he said it but damn if that isn't hilarious.

^ Don't follow sports much but I heard this on the radio and cracked up. I love when people in the public eye are irreverent and honest.

The strange thing they're not that bad. They've got ok pitching and if everyone they traded for projects the way they're supposed to they should battle for 2nd or 3rd this year.

...and look at the career tracks. I'm sure Tavarez would give a lot for 1/10 of Jeter's marketability.
