Maybe I am overlooking the site, but do you all have any plans to sell sportscoats.

I searched for them on the site, but I could not see any

Believe they are in development, near to completion if not finished.

No, unfortunately. But goddamn, that sounds like a good idea. For the moment, I'm not doing any collab pieces with Schott, but we're in their top-tier of distributors, so we'll get a bunch of the new stuff first.

Yes, I'm planning three for the Fall:
1. Navy suede Longwing on Red Dainite Sole
2. Olive suede Plaintoe on Red Dainite Sole
3. Brown Suede / Brown Smooth Leather Saddle Shoe on Red Dainite Sole.

They'll trickle in sometime between now and mid-October.

They're being cut in LA as we speak. I hope to get them in about two weeks.

GG epaulet, thanks for making me look sartorially competent.

Thank you sir! That's an awesome story.

Yes, we've got our own Epaulet sportcoat in development now. It should drop around mid-October.

Outside of that, I'll also have sportcoats from Gant by Michael Bastian, Our Legacy, and Scotch & Soda. They should start arriving within the next few weeks.

And I'm completely anal about jacket and sportcoat fits. I've personally tried on every single jacket that we have coming in. Everything fits relative to our shirting and will have the proper slim cuts, slim sleeves, high armholes that our customers are used to.

cool...do you expect any to fit on the long side, say comparable to standard 40L, 42L, etc?

Hmm, all of them are technically regular length. That said, I usually try to buy ones with non-working sleeve buttons so that the sleeves can be let out. And since many guys want to wear their jackets a bit shorter, it's definitely probable the the body length would be fine for you. I'm 5' 10" and definitely a true Regular length. However, I typically buy sportcoats in 40S if I can find them. I dig the retro cropped style. It depends on your personal preference and how long your torso is.

How about that brown Schott leather jacket? Im actually not sure I can buy it now, as Im a poor law student now instead of a working man like last year. However Im trying to pysch myself up for just saying ******* and buying it, or psyching myself up for the black jacket you have online for much cheaper at 400-450.

Last I heard, it should arrive around 9/10 - 9/15. I believe that they're putting the finishing touches on it now.

Absolutely, we're going to bring it back in black and dark olive. Since we had photos of the black from last season, I have it up for preorder now in our online shop. We should get it between 9/25 and 10/15.

Will the Vanson jacket be a good fit for me if I wear XS in your Epaulet shirts (everything of the shirt fits perfectly except the sleeve length is just about 1-1.5" too long)? I notice your sizing chart for the jacket goes from small to xlarge, but is there is also an XS available for preorder?

Awesome - thanks for picking them up! In weight, I'd say that they're pretty similar. The Ripstop might be a touch lighter, but it's still a great fabric for Fall. It doesn't have the peachskin finish of the Navy, but is otherwise pretty similar. If you like the Navy, then I'm sure that you'll like these - just order them one inch smaller.

Yes, I believe that it will. We did order XS's this time, and they're available for preorder. I didn't post measurements because I don't have the physical pieces yet.

In my experience, you can take your Epaulet shirt size if you want to layer something under the jacket, or size down one for a very slim fit. In the fit pictures, I'm wearing a Medium. I wouldn't be able to fit anything more than a shirt under that. If I was going to buy this coat, I'd probably buy a Large. It doesn't look oversized on me, and I can comfortably fit a sweater underneath it and wear it into the Winter.

As you're already an XS in our shirts, the XS in this won't be really slim on you, but I think that it will still fit very well. Chances are the sleeves will be long on this, but that's also a bit intentional, as it's a true motorcycle jacket. You can see that they fit long on me as well - it's part of the look. Each of the sleeves has snaps to tighten the cuffs, so you can easily pin them at your wrist.

Finally got my Smiths and OD rivet chinos today after sitting in the USPS sorting facility for a week before shipping out. The Smiths are soaking as I type. One question, should I wash or soak the chinos before I get them hemmed?
