You haven't experiences a NY St Patty's day until you get to either the Bay Ridge Parade (which I now curse because it basically shuts down the neighborhood all weekend) or the *gasp* Staten Island parade. Lots of drinking, plenty of fights, and lots of girls with Bensonhurst accents in clothes a half size too small for their own good. In other words, pure class.

Here you go:

I'm wearing the french blue cardigan today and a few people complimented on the hue. "It's not navy blue, but not too bright of a blue" is what they're saying.

Haha cool. Thank god that they didn't call it "blogger blue"

Yup, these will have the button fly's. Actually they'll still be called "Rivet Chinos," despite the lack of any metal hardware. I made that into a trademark, so I've got to get my money's worth on those legal fees smile.gif. Plus it's a recognizable name for customers.

I guess it's alright given the fact that Epaulet doesn't even have one single garment with Epaulets on it in stock at the moment. We play by our own rules FTW!

Hi Mike not sure if it has been asked previously, but will we be expecting any new Ashland drops soon?

Just got back from a wedding in Florida this past weekend where I wore my brown houndstooth suit (and an Ashland shirt). After the last song, a guy came up to me and asked if my suit had been custom made.

Will post a pic if I can find one. Was too busy myself to take pics.

Both duly ordered, LoD. Madras exactly what I was looking for. Nicely done.

Can I wear the spearmint chambray with the racing green trousers?biggrin.gif

Haha. If I do, I'll be sure to post a photo so people can, um, comment.

Just kopped an XS chambray in spearmint. Looking forward to receiving it in a month!

Really, it's amazing that there is just one store in the world that I patronize for all my shirts, trousers, and the brown chromexcel belt that I wear almost exclusively nowadays. Keeps things simple, I suppose. Unfortunately this means that my looks are pretty consistent.

Mike, how's it feel to be the premier merchant to epitomize SF street wear?

i pre-ordered the madras in xs, such a nice pattern and color scheme. i would have gotten the spearmint chambray as well, but i got a similar BoO shirt this season in basically the same exact color.

Like that madras.

Is there any plan to change the shirt cut or offer a different one? Small fits pretty well but the collar is about an inch too large. I'll see if a warm wash shrinks it any.

it should -- you should get about half an inch shrinkage in the collar that way

i just got the cranberry madras and the collar is way too big for a small, looks quite awkward
and my staples x EP chinos are too small in the thigh, can i alter it to be bigger?

The collar noticeably shrunk for my chambrays (in a good way)

+1 on the Staten Island parade! I live on the block where the parade starts. The parade itself is usually nice; that area, afterwards, though ...
