Yup, they'll come in the same medium brown as the chukka boot that we currently have. They're already in-country and clearing customs, so we should have them available next week

what would you guys say is the difference in color, texture, weight, and dress-->casual spectrum of the cramerton cloth trousers versus the tan moleskin? the moleskin looks more yellow, and possibly heavier and more casual?

What is the darkest shade of Carmina shoes that are incoming? I need something to pair with a grey suit.

Saw your special order Caine blazer - it came out great! The dudes are shipping it out in the morning.

The Moleskin and Cramertons are pretty different. Moleskin is a thick, soft fabric. Similar to a wide wale corduroy without the wales. It's a cold-weather garment, and the tan color is more of a camel. It's definitely heavier. I'd say it's a bit less casual though, as moleskin is typically worn with dressier pieces, although you can certainly pair it with boots and casual looks.

The Cramerton is more of a khaki - although a luxe, ass-kicking khaki. The fabric is a thick twill that wears and washes well. The color is darker and less saturated than the tan moleskins. I personally wear Cramertons 3 or 4 times a week. Although you can dress them up, you could also wear them with sneakers.

Check out the chukka boots in our carmina assortment, they'll be that exact color. It will be an ace match with a grey suit. They should be here next week.

Mike-
Are the new trousers still planned to go live tomm?

Quick question for the guys at the shop, or anybody else who's had to let their trousers out a bit. I have a pair of the petrol blue cotton Walts that I've worn several times, washed, and then finally had lengthened. When I got them back from the tailor there was a pale line at the old hem, which he said should wash out pretty easily, but I haven't yet run them through the wash.

I tried spot cleaning with vinegar, but it just looked like the mark spread out - it was less distinct, but also slightly wider, if that makes sense. Reading online suggests a water + vinegar wash and then steam iron is my best option, but I'd love to hear from anybody with experience before I screw them up. If it all works out I'd be looking to do the same with some moleskins, but I definitely don't want to mess up with those, as I wear them all the time - who knew green pants could be a staple?

If you've worn them and then lengthened them, you might be outta luck. You'd be surprised how quickly that fold gets worn/faded. Always wash/dry to get the initial shink out, and then get them tailored. Else you will probably have that line. Same with wool, it'll wear, get shoe polish on it, etc.

I just bought the Pearl Cargo's and have the Super 120's Grey here: http://www.epauletshop.com/servlet/the-844/%27Slim-Walt-Trouser-Super/Detail

Should I dry-clean before I get them tailored? Also, are both pants dry-clean only?

Cheers.

They are dry clean only, like all the wool trousers. If you're concerned about shrinking, see http://www.styleforum.net/t/32026/will-drycleaning-shrink-pants-length/0_30

My chest measures 39 inches and mediums are just at the edge of being tight at the chest before washing. After washing, they get noticeably tighter in the chest for me. They are wearable, but just a little uncomfortable in the chest/arm hole area. As for the shoulders, most shirts with 17~17.5" shoulder seem to fit me well, but the Epaulet shirt, at 18", also hits my shoulders perfectly for some reason.
For what it's worth, I ordered a size large this week to try out the size to see if it offers more comfort while still looking relatively fitted.

Thanks for the reply, looks like large it is.

I'm not convinced that shoulder measurements are really comparable between brands/sites, it does not seem like there's much consistency in how they're measured.
