I bought my first pair of Walts (Cramertons) and I absolutely love them. I need more. Any plans for other heavier cotton fabrics or corduroy in the works?
I have three pair of slim Walt trousers: graphite houndstooth (worn today), Navy marl lambswool, and a gray-blue with hints of purple. The fit, style, and warmth are first rate. Indispensable part of the winter wardrobe. How did I ever survive winter without them?
First off, thanks to everyone who ordered the trousers! Holy god, those sold through really quickly. We've got a bunch of orders in the queue, so it might take an extra day or two to ship everything out, but we'll start kicking ass on it first thing in the morning.
We did a fresh inventory count before I put that stuff online, so the stock should be correct. If for any reason we oversold a unit we'll let you know immediately.
Also, I know that I owe everyone quite a few PM's. I'm having a huge-ass trouser meeting tomorrow (more good stuff in the works), but I'll catch up with all of my SF duties after that.

It will be perfectly fine for my upcoming trip to Hawaii though. Can't wait to rock the aloha shirt!
Thank you, glad that you dig it!

How does the sizing work in comparison to in-house shirting?
Gitman Vintage and Ashland shirts have a bigger difference between sizes than our Epaulet shirts do. An Epaulet small is roughly equal to a GV small. A GV medium is a bit bigger than an Epaulet Medium - kind of in-between an Epaulet medium and large. And a GV Large is substantially bigger than an Epaulet large. A lot of guys can wear both fits, but some of our customers stick to one or the other.

Well, we had them in the store, but all of the discounted sizes are largely sold out. If we've got something online that you're interested in from these products, you'd probably want to pick it up before we reopen tomorrow.

Thanks!
You bet! I have some seriously ass-kicking Spring fabrics for our sport coats. Linen blends, tropical wools, lightweight cords, and an unbelievably rad double-faced cotton (dark grape on the exterior, cream stripe on the interior).

Mike-
Are there plans to release a White Oxford BD Collar similar to the Blue one?
Will you be releasing more dress shirts with Point & Spread collars?
Yes on the white oxford B/D, we're definitely doing that. Probably will come within the next few weeks or so.
We're not really doing spread collars for this season, every dress shirt will be either point or cutaway. And we'll certainly have some more of those.

Now... I have to say that we took so many orders that I totally ran out of shipping boxes today. We ended up shipping out the sale chinos and trousers in Ebay-style inside-out Priority Mail flat rate boxes. Apologies for that, but I figured that it was better to ship everything out today than wait 48 hours for a restock of the prettier boxes.

Yes, we have a Carmina re-stock clearing customs this week actually. We'll have every size in the double monk and shortwing coming back into stock (couple of colors each, in both calf and shell cordovan).
And, I'm happy to announce that a bunch of trousers landed today! We're still awaiting a few styles from the first delivery, but I'll have about 7 styles going live later this week.
Shoot. Just ordered another xs shirt, a polka chambray. I've always wanted a grey, iridescent buttondown shirt that can be worn at a club and under a conservative suit for work. Does the grey charcoal chambray serve this purpose?
I really love how epaulet shirts in Small shrinks to fit me perfectly after the first wash in warm water (out of the box the sleeve and shoulder is tad long). So far I have only tried this in chambray fabrics (red & mashups) but if this is the case in all fabric, my bank account is in a deep trouble
Which 7 styles are these, Mike? New chinos perhaps?
Not the Rivet Chinos just yet, but we did receive some cotton Walt trousers. Off the top of my head, we got:
* Three colors of sanded canvas (butterscotch, olive, forest)
* Navy Super 120's dress trouser
* Grey Nailhead dress trouser
* Barberis Navy Guncheck (this is freaking amazing)
* Navy Irish Linen
I'll shoot studio pics tomorrow and fit pics on Thursday. We'll definitely have everything built out by Thurs nite!

If so, yes, this should do the trick. It's a really lightweight flannel and it's very wearable under a jacket or a suit. It would hold a tie nicely too - especially a wool tie, cotton tie, or something with some texture.

Definitely, but I'm not sure if we can swing that for the Spring. We'll surely bring them back in a few colors in late August though.
Big thanks to Oisin for pointing this out! I published my first Styleforum blog post earlier this week. If you haven't already overdosed on Pitti Uomo musings, here's a short summary of what I did over there. http://blog.styleforum.net/?p=712
Both me and my team are going to post on here regularly - hopefully once a month or so. I'm really excited to participate! We'll have a great feature on Gitman Brothers (written by a fellow SF member, photographed by me, edited by Dylan) going live in a few weeks.
