Wow. Many awesome outfits in the last couple of pages...I tried to thumbs up them all, sorry if I missed anyone.

Mike: I would like to know what the price would be for the cargo pants MTO. Glad to see other dudes want them too. I saw Captain America 2, and been really urging for a pair since, lol. :embar:

Cotton twill Walts have become my favorites recently. Yesterday and today:

Pants look sharp, Wis. I really need to get some pics up of my cotton Rudys for the sake of the thread.

I'm sorry if I missed it in the thread but I read on Well Spent that you are going to offer tubular knit tees. Any  more details on colorways and pricing?

http://well-spent.com/2014/04/09/seven-questions-epaulet/

Yes sir! They're due in about four weeks. I'm pretty jazzed about them.

I didn't want to make a typical t-shirt. So our existing tees are in the most expensive fabric that I could find - superfine pima 40's single. They're a conventional style, done in an exceptional cloth.

Our circular knit t-shirts will have a similar fit and collar, but they'll be made with a seamless body. A very cool and rare method of construction. We're using a really nice pima cotton 30's single fabric for it which is not quite a high-end as the existing t-shirts, but vastly superior to most other tees that are on the market. Pricing is planned at $35 for them. One catch - the circular machines are on the smaller side so we'll only be able to offer S,M, and L in these styles. The biggest loom isn't actually large enough to do an XL body. Colors will be white, navy, vintage black (think of that washed heavy metal tee) and dark grape. Everything is garment dyed, enzyme washed, and preshrunk.

Yeah. Pretty sure that these are going to be some of the best tees available anywhere. I'm really jazzed for them.

I remember a month or two ago there was a rust colored tweed jacket or something along that line that a bunch of us were very much interested in - did anything ever come of that or was it not possible to do a MTO run of them?

Oh yes, sorry - thought that I responded to this. Unfortunately, we're not going to be able to offer that, Southwick was fresh out of the fabric. But no worries, we'll have another Fall Factory Finds round in late July. They'll surely have some options in that vein.

Private label shoes and boots? Tell me more :lurk:

Haha, yes sir. Well, you know about the tennis sneakers dropping in a few weeks. I'm hoping to show some goodyear welted boot and shoe samples next week - I've been told that they'll finish assembly in the next few days. Let me wait to get a better picture of pricing and lasts before running my mouth too much, but I'm essentially hoping to deliver a solid American-made product which will offer something really special. More details to come!

Mike has stated they are having an issue with Shopify and external emails going out. If you need a confirmation just shoot him an email and he will send it over to you.

Yeah, I'm sorry guys - this is still happening. We're getting all of the orders though, and you should at least see emails when they're processed. I've got my shopify rep on it.

Shawl collar bomber jacket?!  Haha what season's that for!  It sounds great!

Haha, this is going to be dope. We're planning a shawl collar, patch pocket variant of the Asbury. I'm thinking to do it in overdyed denim and heavyweight twill. Possibly moleskin too. It's in sampling now.

Agreed! Also any word on when henleys would drop? I've been thinking EPLA would crush a henley.

Should be next month - they just went to cutting this week.

What was the cost of the Doyle jacket? Seeing the pics people have been putting up are making me seriously lust after it!

$175, and we'll be fully restocked within the next 7 days or so.

Confirmed - Cargo Pants are an additional $15 above and beyond the existing MTO price. That extra sewing and assembly is kind of costly when you do it as a one-off. We can make a cargo variant out of any of the existing fabrics. At the moment, I'll do it case-by-case, so if you want a pair, drop me an email and we'll work it out.

The question is - who's going to get a pair of plaid linen cargo pants :slayer:

Wilshire Galey & Lord Safari Twill Update

I went to the dye house today to look at colors. And the manager told me that the best course of action would be to simply dye the jean a slightly darker shade of tan. That would preserve the look of the fabric, it should keep the red selvedge line, and it will eliminate the shading. And the extra dye treatment will soften it up a bit more.

I think that this is the best route, as I heard from quite a few guys that they had their hearts set on the tan twill / red selvedge look of the swatch. We'll order the dye tomorrow and we should have the finished product next week. Sorry for the delay and back-and-forth on this. And of course, I'll post photos and get your confirmation before we ship anything out. The preorder was not a final sale, and you guys can cancel and get an immediate refund at any time.

Thanks!

Mike I noticed the two new denims have been put up.

Apart from the upcoming over-dyed non-selvage, are you planning any Wilshires with a dark weft?

Looks great Frank. I may bust out my Doyle today. But I am curious about these Driggs. Aren't you normally a Rudy guy? Did you size up?

Thanks. I wear Walts in fact.

I took the same size (34) in Driggs as in Walts. I do seem to need a 35 in RCs and have some of those in 36 too since there's no 35 on stock items (and I'm too impatient to wait for a 35 MTO for something that I can have in 36 now...)

The taper on the Driggs is definitely sharper than for Walts, as promised, though it doesn't look as severe in the photo as I thought it would. I like it.

And the rise is certainly RC territory as advertised. But the Walt top block and thigh proportions mean that there's a comfortable amount of room for me.

Doyle's are cut slightly slim? The 40R chest is a 21 inch which is often a 38R coat measurement (though we are on the borders here of course). Just curious about fit. People have found it essentially true to size?

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but this is one of those SF threads that moves very fast and just impossible to search through when one has to work!

This sounds like a good solution. I had contacted you regarding a possible refund and haven't heard back yet, but perhaps I will wait this out to see how the darker shade of tan works out.
