Thanks in advance!

Try sending an email if you haven't yet. Adele was able to respond to an email I sent about a week and a half ago and my remake is good to go, and I mailed my original waffle knit back as well. Not sure on the timeline yet for when we can expect the remakes to completed though.

In addition to this, @Epaulet for those of us who's sweaters were back ordered, are they going to be made at the original mis-size? Or are they going to be made to the new size that was posted early?

Sorry if you answered this but do you mean the Gunmetal Museum calf combat boots are in 10 days?

Would love to know the answer to this as well!  Think Mike mentioned earlier than that though....

I sent an email today and heard back, but didn't really get much clarification as for actual sizing/measurements for the new sizes. I submitted the google form just requesting a 'true' to size based of the shawl heirloom shape. I'm hoping this works out.

Based on the feedback I received, I think that strategy that should work out for you.

What is happening to the returned sweaters?

I'm confused have the Tweed Cords from the recent mto (took place ~ month ago) shipping? I'm waiting on mine and not sure if I should expect them soon or not. Looking forward to trying out the Rudy fit.

Any advice on current fit vs original fit rivet chino? I have no experience with either.

Thanks!

If you have larger quads/thighs, I'd go with the new fit. Also, the new fit seems to have a higher rise and a larger waist for any given tagged size than the old.

@harveyrabbit the majority of our customers prefer the newer fit, so all things being equal, I'd advise that. It has a bit more room in the top block and is more articulated to the body. Slightly more tapered leg too, but after the knee.

@BenLeaman anyone with a backorered Tweed Cord from the first round is getting made with this current batch.

The issue is that the factory underestimated the available fabric back in August. So we oversold it by about 15 units in total.

These two rolls of cloth are arriving by the end of the month and will be used to fill (1) August backorders (2) Walt preorders and (3) Current MTO orders.

If you placed an order in August, then you probably used the 10% off code.. so there was a savings compared to ordering a full price MTO right now.

or skip the pants and do an individualized??

@peppercorn78 all things equal, go with the Tweed Cords. They're really freaking unique. Chances are we'll have those donegals for a while if you want to pick them up later. The only thing expiring on the donegals is the discount. While the Tweed Cords will probably be completely gone until next year.

@budapest12 it's an old/new style.

So for boots from Portugal, I've got these styles en-route:

Goodwear Welt Jodphur in Snuff Suede & Black Calfskin. You guys know all about this.

Chelsea Boot (blake stitch) in Smoke & Bordeaux Horsehide. These are done on a rubber sole unit and have a more tapered toe and slimmer last than the Crepe chelseas. Light, very comfortable, and totally resoleable. The sole & labor is much cheaper, so even with horsehide costing so much more than suede, I think that we can have these out at $275. They're gonna be brilliant.

Combat Boot in Black Couro Cromo - straight restock from last year

@metranger8694 yes sir, scheduled to be picked up on 10/26, and then just some time for shipping and customs.

@kwhitelaw  don't worry, you won't miss the window. I think that Adele sent an email already, but if not we'll get that out pronto

Great news on a rainy Thursday: Adele (@EpauletFemme) just e-mailed to say that the Rivet EFF just dropped. Looking forward to having the Chocolate Magenta Fleck Tweed around for the fall. Just the thing now that yesterday's 85-degree heat has given way to real fall.

Are the Walt cords appropriate for business casual office wear? The photo and some wear picks make them look very "soft," so I'm uncertain how it would stand up to Friday fall/winter wear. For reference, I normally wear the oxford grey flannel in the fall and winter.

Thanks - likely will order these anyway before midnight

Seems to me that business casual is exactly what they're meant for.

What Rivets are people getting at the discount deadline tonight? Getting a Cav Twill for sure, probably the Danube Blue. Tempted by the donegals, too, though honestly I own so many flannel and tweed Walts it seems like that'd be getting excessive.
