Really tempted to grab the blue one as well. All 5 have unlined collars. The brushed cotton and green gingham have the University Button-Down and horn buttons. The Rezzo has the Artisan Collar w/ horn buttons and dual button-through patch pockets as I'm planning to wear that one as an overshirt. The blue gingham and the chambray have the MOP buttons, medium spread collar and a French placket. Final shot shows the gingham paired w/ tobacco twords.

@Duke Silver awesome! Thanks for posting the pics and glad that you're so pleased with everything! Stop by on Saturday if you have any time, we'd love to see you.

@zinc2162 at the beginning, yes. The lead time is really short and the MTO surcharge is reasonable, so I think that makes the most sense. This way you can really customize it to your own specs. You can even do a two-tone jacket if you want.

At the lower end, we'll continue running our suede pieces as stock from Portugal.. and those will stay in the $500 range.

Thanks!

@FLW for the soft, lighter horse, the only other color option is "Cordovan," which is a gorgeous Color #8-ish tone. I'll shoot videos of all the options when the go live so you can see it in a correct light.

They have other heavier weight hides in colors like Cherry and Navy.. but the thick skin will give a much different vibe to the jacket. It's something that Aero does very well, and they're known for these beefy, old-school jackets. I wanted our exclusive piece to be comfortable and light - something that would jive with all of our pieces and look very modern. But we can certainly order those other leathers for you, and we can tailor most of their designs around our fit specs.

Mike/Epaulet: Any new tennis lows coming in? it's either another pair of donegal rivets or sneakers. Or combat boots. wink.gif

Thanks. I really like the French placket/no pocket w/ the spread collar. I know the accepted view is that isn't the way to go w/ a casual shirt, but I love the clean lines it creates. The only times I really think it doesn't work is when worn w/ jeans, but w/ chinos or other casual cotton pants, I think it just looks a bit more refined.

@Epaulet

I'm gonna try to make it on Saturday, but there's a pretty good chance I'll be chasing the little one around a pumpkin patch in a Mr Incredible costume all day. Will the hours at the office be a somewhat regular thing from here on out?

@CharlieAngel

Our Tennis Low stock items are just re-stocks: we're getting just white monochrome and black monochrome. Should be here in about 10 days along with the Ilcea stuff.

We also did the Chelsea boot in both smoke & bordeaux horsehide, and the Combat Boot in Black Couro Cromo.

@Duke Silver haha, I hear you - all of us dad's are living that Pumpkin Patch lyfe these days.

No one ever told me how unbelievably exhausting going to a Pumpkin patch really is.

And yes, office hours will be a regular thing. We're gonna work it out, but will probably be Monday through Friday and two Saturday's each month.

@Epaulet

any word on the waffle knit sweater? Didn't see an email over the weekend (nor am I in a rush necessarily), just want to make sure I don't miss a window to exchange.. I'd be happy to send mine back proactively, or wait until the revised sizing comes out..

Thanks in advance!

Mike,

Sorry if you answered this but do you mean the Gunmetal Museum calf combat boots are in 10 days?

I know what you mean, some of those Donegals are really cool. The steel Twords are awesome though, they're crazy soft and a really awesome fall pant. I'm going to get a lot of use out of mine.

Weird question but has anyone ever added side tabs to a pair of pants without them? I rarely wear a belt. Kind of thinking of doing it, I imagine you could just hem them slightly and use the extra fabric to make the tabs. I'm interested in having it done but hell if I'm really being honest I'm probably too lazy to do it.

^ I have done it with a pair of trousers from another maker. It was simple. The trousers were unhemmed so the alterations tailor took the cloth from the hem.
