Hey guys,

We've got more Cord Tweed clearing customs as we speak and the factory gave us the green light to book sales against the incoming inventory. This is definitely the last restock until Fall 2017!

In order to help them be efficient, we've agreed to try selling a "stock run" first. 40 units can be made in each color, and from now until next Thursday, you can order it as a Walt. Any size is possible, but you can't customize the details and they'll be delivered at 38" unfinished. We're able to discount the price from $235 to $215 though.

After Thursday, we'll submit the order as a collection of Walts.. and then any remaining stock will be booked into our MTO item and you can buy a Gable, Taylor, Driggs, or Rudy.

If you take a Walt fit, then jump on this.. you're going to absolutely adore this fabric! I've never seen anything like it on the market. We'll send this out in a NL on Monday, so you heard it here

I was just thinking how I should've jumped on this earlier!

No chance to order a driggs fit of this right now? Or maybe have a Walt purposefully cut slim in the leg? I find hertling's cutting can vary by 0.5", which can give a substantially different look in the legs.

Some of my Walts I'm swimming in, and others are super slim through the leg.
I am definitely planning on trimming both pants leg opening to 7.5 inches man.

Top Gear Top Tip: buy cords one size up to help accommodate holiday eating.

CORDUROY TWEED MTO OPTIONS IN GABLE, TAYLOR, RUDY, AND DRIGGS

Hey guys,

I spoke with the trouser factory.. we pulled 10 units of each color and put it into the regular MTO item. So we can absolutely cut any of the other fits for you. This will be at the full price ($235) while a stock walt will be a bit cheaper ($215). Here's the link for that:

Still waiting on mine :-/

The Donegal tweed Rivets look great. I'm deliberating between the original and current fit. Re tailoring: I realize the current fit can't be let out. But can it be taken in?

I prefer the current fit's higher rise. But I tend to be midway between a 33 and 34, so the best move for me usually is to buy a 34 and have my tailor take in the waist/seat.

New rivets can be taken in, the finished waistband just needs split. My tailor did it and with a belt on it is impossible to know any different.

I prefer cuffs on mine but with cords, I feel you can really go either way.

This round of MTO twill cords are different fabric than the last round that is being shipped now, yes?

You mean tweed cords?  No.  Same fabric.

He could mean the rivet wool cords, in which case it is a different fabric. But the trouser tweed cords are the exact same as before.

Ok.

What was confusing is the pair I ordered was called Tobacco Khaki and now it is Honey Wheat. There didn't appear to be the flecks of color in this round of tweed cords. That is why I wasn't sure.

In retrospect, I guess there didn't need to be a bum rush to order the dark greys that sold out last round after all.
