That candy-cane stripe is awesome. Always love seeing new fabrics come in.

Sample sale on Saturday?

As a Canuck coming in for Thanksgiving, this excites me terribly. Any details you can share?

Bedford Cords back from the tailor, thanks again to @CanadaCal for sending these my way. They will see a ton of use.

Really glad to see new Taylors in stock. Ordered two, bringing my Taylor collection to 6:

  • Tobacco Calvary Twill
  • Oxford Grey Flannel
  • Light Gray Hopsack MTO
  • Navy Hopsack Wool
  • Stormcloud Wool-Silk-Linen
  • Olive Military Twill (fell victim to a crappy washing machine, RIP)

The perfect ready-to-wear CM trouser. Thanks @Epaulet!

Love the color and texture on those, nice pickup.  Does Epaulet still offer the bedford cords, in any colorways?

@Epaulet - Mike!! Wtf, the sic Tess and bolsena are amazing! I think I might have to do those two in contrast collar and double cuffs, artisan collar. What do you think? Too Staten Island?

I think they are still in the MTO trouser section of the site.

I was thinking of the same configuration. White collar, double cuffs with the self cloth (non-contrast). I think it will make up very bold, but very well. I have too many shirts though so we'll see.

I had a similar experience with email/PM, but I'd suggest you give the store a call.  I was able to talk to Dylan and my issue was resolved quickly

I had a pair of French blue duck chinos shrivited. They turned out great.

@Epaulet, it looks like the sf NYC trunk show is coming up in about a month. Any chance there'll be samples of the blake stitch jodhpurs to try on?

@notwithit the boots are getting picked up tomorrow from PT, should be here early next week. I'm not sure what the demand will be, but provided they don't all sell very quickly, then we'll surely bring them to the NY show.

Once they arrive, we'll fit test them so that we can offer solid advice compared to Alden, Carmina, & Epaulet trainers. I'll do the 15% off deal for 48 hours, so they may burn through pretty fast

@NewYawker they're so good right! I absolutely love both of them made up that way! I don't think it's Staten Island at all - they'll both look seriously old-school and dandy that way. Sort of like a Paul Smith shirt, but with no bullcrap and radically better fabric.

I think for a Staten Island makeup, you'd want to start with the S.I.C. Tess, then remove the sleeves, remove the collar, really narrow the yoke, shorten the body and change the fabric to a nice soft jersey knit.

Oh look, I found a photo of the sample:

If you want to buy four of them, we can still do the fifth one at no charge!
