I also got the regular navy wide wales and they're very nice in their own right. I have the wheat ones from a couple years back and I wear the shit out of those so I'm sure it'll be the same w/ the navy ones, but the hand on these twords is just beyond description.

I can't wait to get mine.

Who needs moleskin when you have these?

This coming from a Florida dude.

This. I also missed the cashmere blend rivets because they were sold out by the time I got home from work. frown.giffrown.gif

Any chance of making another one in a different color? I love this shirt.

These are some great prices - will have to jump for a few. How should someone think about sizing with regards to the Ends for Friends? From reading this thread, the sizing is kind of all over the place. I'm usually a medium slim or a small, but that feels like it might be a bit tight getting a S here?

Hi Mike, is it possible to have the liberty of london mini floral made into a short sleeve shirt?

I'm in the same boat as you. Get the M and pop it in the dryer if needed.

@Epaulet

Is it too late to change the size of an EFF order?  I'm considering going up to an L in the justified/ancient and shrinking if too big.  I wore one of my large gitman flannels again this weekend, and it was not as baggy as I recalled.  I'm a little worried that a medium, if cut on the smaller end of the range, could be too tight with any shrinkage or fat/muscle gain.

It's late for me to say so, but it was great to go to the epaulet event in Los Angeles back over Labor Day weekend. Got measured and ordered a couple of individualized shirts. It was really cool to meet Mike again and talk for a while about things coming up for Epaulet. Really looking forward to seeing how the Shirts turn out.

And now I couldn't resist the cornflower blue brushed twill or the ivory Austrian flannel shirt. Now waiting for four Ep shirts.

Mike, any chance the next round of suede bluchers will be done in tan?

reviewing Epaulet's sizing guide again - i'm curious, but is it just me or are there sizes substantially smaller than other brands / stores? Even when comparing against other fitted brands, Epaulet's sizing is an inch smaller. This might be the first time that i've been a large since...i was wearing things two sizes too big. Just looking for some general feedback on how to proceed, as I'm sure these will be great shirts and i just need to get the sizing right.

I will say that an XL in EP fits me similarly to M from some other shirt makers.

The measurements are accurate. Go with them rather than a tagged size.

@bbconair depends what you're comparing us against, but our sizing is often about one size smaller than most American brands.

Let me do this: I'll shoot a quick video tomorrow of how we measure our shirts. I'll post it here so you can see the method. If you measure an existing shirt against our numbers, it will guide you to the right size.

@plato it was great meeting you too! Thanks so much for all of your orders - those Individualized shirts should be hitting any day now.

@nickpapagiorgio absolutely not, just shoot over the size change via email. We'll take care of that. Smart to size up if you're concerned

@TO Tie Guy sorry, everything in this promo has to be one in one shape, so only Mahalo Haole will be short sleeve.

That said, we've got little prints (not Liberty) from Individualized, and we can do any of them as a short sleeve

You'd most likely need a medium @bbconair, but I'll post up that measuring guide tomorrow so you can judge it against a shirt that you own now

@White Lotus oh I wish! That fabric was off the chain. I bought it at a closeout place, so it was a true one-off.

Epaulet's a much more fitted shirt than other makers. I wear a large in most things, including Epaulet, but that's only because the Epaulet XL would be too baggy for my tastes, and I accept the bagginess that comes with a lot of other shirts. I could theoretically wear a medium with some other brands, but I find I need the shoulder space that comes with the large.

In other shirt news, my custom Safari shirt arrived. It's really freaking stunning in person. I made a quick "unboxing" video to show you guys....

Here's the link to it in our online shop

The monogram got a good laugh out of me. It's a sick shirt for sure. I'm not normally a fan of the mitered cuffs but it's really well suited to that shirt.
