Speaking of weddings and proposing, celebrated my one year anniversary this past weekend. Wearing my favorite Epaulet FF Southwick Jacket.

Speaking of Southwick, @Epaulet will there be a fall Southwick program?

Those look great. Has there been any talk of whether a suede 5-panel cap is still in the works?

Picked mine up the other day, the Aran Knit Crewneck. Absolutely incredible. There was a chill in the air last night and almost wore it. Saw those suede ballcaps, too, which are pretty great.

@Epaulet. Did you guys receive any E widths for the CXL Alt Wein shoe? Looking for 7.5 E.

@SouthNarc we typically make E widths just via preorders, but now that the batch of Alt Wiens has been delivered, we'll probably open up for the next round in a month or so (along with the Innsbruck Indy)

@notwithit yup, we have a few colors in the 5 panel as well, will go up next week. No snuff or navy though, I believe that it's done in bone, red, and black. It's a collab piece with Stacy London, but certainly still unisex. There's no branding or anything on it. We shot fit pics of it on Peter.

@Todd V yup, I have the swatches waiting for me at home, we'll look to get that online within the next 10 days. We can offer that once-a-season 10% discount too.

@justinkapur if it's just a little tight, then you can actually stretch it out by hand - it will mold to you. Put your arms under the chest and push out with your forearms. Do it slowly and evenly, it will gain a half size without a problem. You can also evenly pull on the bottom to get it to be longer.

@eljlakers excellent, glad that you're happy with it! I'm thrilled with how they made up.

Any thoughts in terms of neighborhoods? @notwithit I do! I'm actually in Portugal now but I've actually never been to Lisbon before. Sorry, wish that I knew more about it.

Epaulet Suede Ballcap

After long last, the suede ballcaps have arrived! Thanks to everyone who ordered today, we're through about 50% of the stock.

I wrote a bunch of copy in the item description, but the short story is: this is an impossibly rad casual hat. It works brilliantly with our collection and its a great way to wear a hat that's more serious than the typical ball cap, but still very easy to wear.

It's made in Portugal at a very old-school hat manufacturer. They typically do traditional brimmed style, but we had them develop this shape. It has a high crown stance and a shorter brim like a fitted cap. The suede is really lush.. it's the same that we've used for the sneaker and chelsea boot production. And it's surprisingly comfortable and breathable to wear. I wore the sample on many hot days in LA, and I wore the snuff hat tonight in Portugal when the temps hit 58 degrees. If you like wearing ballcaps, even just from time to time, definitely consider one of these - I think you'll really love it.

Suede Ballcap in Snuff: $85

Suede Ballcap in Navy: $85

Great hats @epaulet

Fingers crossed for a newsboy cap!

And speaking of Portugal, all sorts of good stuff is happening here. These beauties are coming off the line in about two weeks....

And meet Bruno... the wunderkind at the factory who helped me to design the last for these. It's a really nice shape - has a strong taper to the front, but it's still very comfortable to wear:

@Epaulet wow, those are just killer! How much are they going for and how soon can I order a pair?

That is one hell of a last. I'm not even a big jodhpur guy, but those might have just made me into one. Count me in for a pair, too.

P.S...it's September...any word of a Combat Boot restock yet?

@Wooderson  @Callusing thanks guys! We have to do the final pricing after it's landed, but I'm planning to sell this between $400 and $425 retail. The suede is gorgeous and the make on it is really precise - with a beautiful closed-channel goodyear welt all around. Our shoe & boot collection has two goals (1) to be stylish AF and (2) to carry the best value on the market. I think that you'll really be impressed with these in person!

Combat Boot are planned to ship out about the first week of October - along with all of the Museum Calf production.

Jodhpurs look great - will the initial run be that suede only or will there be other leathers?
