looks like I got the last med Marlot

Got a medium blue. My first time trying for medium but all this lifting has made the smalls feel pretty slim. It may be time to start building up my shirts to medium now :(....I doubt I'll be disappointed by the shirt, it'll be an awesome staple.

All of the new shirts have Medium's left - although we're down to the last 2 units of that in University Stripe. Emerald and Red no longer have that size, but they're not going to be restocked.

Thanks!

I don't know if the William Lockie preorder closed as scheduled or not but the option is still  up and I just caved and ordered the pacific/navy marl.  Hoping it can still go through...

@nycxandy not anytime soon - the next step is probably a Fall MTO special with all of their in-line fabrics, something like the 10% off trouser discount.

@duff406 yup, that got pushed off due to all of the other stuff this week, but it's still on deck

It's like @epaulet snuck into my room one night and measured me for this pattern...

@BenLeaman glad that it's working so well for you!

Still, wanted to drop by and say props!  Great-looking product.  I know where I steer anyone who asks me about this kind of menswear. :)

@cyclohexane thank you sir! It's part of our plan over here - the Portugal biz-caz collection is intended to be the "gateway drug" of Epaulet

@chrispy650 I think that the Medium is going to be great on you. Perfect fabric weight for out here too

No comments before so I'll try again :)

Thinking of getting it with side tabs. No break or slight break?

What sort of shirts would be a good match? Solid colors only? How casual can one go with these? Sneakers? Tees/henleys?

No break. Stick to solid colour shirts and sweaters. I think they will make up great and I don't see them being that loud, it's a drab colour pallet making them more wearable.
Killer holiday season pant.

I'm in love with this Blackwatch flannel, and its one of the best iterations that I've seen. The reason is: the plaid is really subtle.

Back in the day when we started with Hertling, I was crazy excited about bold tartan trousers. Ordered myself like five pairs. The problem is.. they overpower your look when you wear them. You end up one of three things:

1) Trendy young brah in the Phineas Cole lookbook

2) Fun dad getting a little wild during the holidays

3) Throwback ska/punk guy

Now, there's nothing wrong with these three looks, and truthfully, I like to embody all three at different times. But it's a very specific and non-versatile look. That's why it was so difficult to sell those really bold trousers

The beauty of this blackwatch is how muted the tartan is. The pants will be amazing and interesting, but not overpowering. They'd be very easy to wear casually too. No problemo to match these to boots, sweaters, leather jacket, etc. I'd wear them with sneakers. Heavier knits and henleys would work, but lighter ones would probably look mis-matched with any heavier flannels. They're probably better suited to casual wear anyway. The only thing that I'd stay away from is patterned shirts and jackets. Keep the top solid to balance things out.

I'd say to go for belt loops on these over side tabs though. They'll look boss with a good pair of boots and a matched belt

Finally got my EFF jackets back from the tailor. They all needed some shaping work in the midsection but with the deals on these guys I could afford to invest in some higher level alterations.

All are winners and fill perfect holes in my lineup. Ta da!

Medium gray fresco

Navy seersucker

Rainbow gauzy herringbone (a truly badass fabric)

My medium gray fresco suit from that run is my epitome of "summer suit." Absolutely love it.
