@Epaulet

You mentioned an unlined loafer a while back. Is that going to hit anytime soon? Or the Teba jacket you said you were working on?

I am looking forward to the possible Rivet EFF tomorrow.  I already know I will be putting an order for one the Tweed Cords.  Love the color of  the steel but might wind up with the tan one.

I hope Mike can describe the shade as I'm hoping the shade is a little(or more) darker than khaki.

I think it is only Rivet cuts with the EFF.

I'm certain it was for Hertling as well. Mike posted it as a preview of the Hertling fall offerings.

@Epaulet Mike mentioned that there's a Hertling MTO coming up tomorrow (Thursday) which I assume is Driggs/Walts/Rudys/Taylors, but I believe he also mentioned a EFF Rivets to happen this week; did not catch a date for that one though

The old Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union (ACTWU) merged with my grandmother's union, the International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU - the union of the song - "Look for the Union Label..." to form UNITE! the Union of Needle, Industrial and Textile Employees. Not quite sure why they had an exclamation point. Then, because they had few members and a lot of money and the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees had members and little money, they merged into UNITE-HERE! I think they are just an acronym now, with no actual words behind the letters. They also have less density in the need trades industry, although Oxxford, Hickey Freeman, HSM, and others are still union made.

Great stuff! Thanks.

I liked that commercial and jingle so much when I was a kid in Queens. It was like a fight song. Maybe they deserved an exclamation point!

Southwick as well. If you look in the inside left pocket of your Southwick jackets, you'll find the modern UNITE HERE tag.
