@Epaulet

You mentioned grey suede slip-on tennis trainers a couple months back. Are those still happening or should I grab the lace-ups?

Low Smoke / Ecru Sole just wow - think that may be my new favorite makeup!

But I already own the Saddle, Auburn, and OG White (with Grey Suede Heel Cap)... and I think my wife will think I am crazy if I order another leather trainer from Epaulet...

Agreed! I just picked up a pair. I'm debating getting the black/gray suede version, too. But really, if they'd just make the sport trainers in that gray horsehide....

Incredible sneakers.

Does anyone have the Titanic gif where DeCaprio is on the bow screaming, "I'm King of the World?"

Cause Mike is the King of sneakers. Photoshop Mike's face on that one!

Or Kiss's song, King of the Night Time World(one of their best). King of the sneaker world.

WELL DONE SIR.

Took my laguna individualized shirt in to get the body shortened, the tailor wanted to just chop the bottom inch off instead of keeping the curved hem, I wanted to keep the curve. So we'll see how that goes! Had to get my Taylor's hemmed as well so I'll make sure to post pics of my new stuff once I get it back!

My horsehide running trainers are quite squeaky. Anyone else had that issue? Any luck solving it? I've tried baby powder under the insert, sanding the top of the tongue where it might rub against the inside of the vamp, and greasing the tongue. No luck :(

Do you know where its coming from?  I'm guessing the leather would lap up a conditioner pretty quickly and help the issue by making them more supple.    Now it will change the colour which kind of sucks IMO.  I actually like the raw caramel-ish colour over the burnt orange patina that develops.

Bick 4 or Lexol maybe?  I have heard of people doing this on Butteros that were squeaky out of the box, and they took a few coats without issue.

Smoke horsies are awesome.  I'm assuming those patina darker over time?

I get occasional sqeaking in the sport trainers. sounds like its from the insole. it comes and goes so doesn't bother me so much.

No idea where it's coming from. From reading around the usual suspects are between the insert and the insole, or between tongue and vamp.

Insole squeak sucks, hard to fix IMO, powder doesn't do all that much and wears down fast.  There has to be something else that works I'm unaware of.

When you say insole, do you mean between the insole and the liner/pad? Or do you mean inside the guts of the shoe?

I have a pair of leather Buttero trainers that squeak like crazy, so much so that it bothers me to wear them most of the time. If there are any tricks to stop that I'm all ears. I've tried the usual baby powder trick too and that didn't do much. I think the squeaking on mine might actually coming from the leather uppers.

I've heard spraying silicone inside helps

I have a pair of Alden Cap toe shell boots that click like crazy. I only wear them outside in a noisy environment.
