This is unquestionably one of my favorite posts of all time.

The U.K. sanded canvas is most definitely machine washable. And the better for a cold wash.

Hey guys!

Tomorrow is the soft launch for our Portugal Suits! Sorry that it's been taking forever for me to build these out. We've been selling them pretty regularly at the shop, so I wanted to put them online while we still have full size runs.

Here's the trousers. They're constructed like the Walt and fit consistently with the exception of a stronger taper after the knee. We've sold nearly 50 pairs at the shop over the past few weeks, so you can feel confident on the fit. They're an excellent basic dress pant on their own, even without the matching coat.

We're going to concentrate on keeping these exact two fabrics in stock most of the time - and they're on-going basic wools for Barberis. So you can buy a pant today and get a matching jacket down the road if you want to complete the suit later on. Or vice-versa. There are minimal color shifts from one dye lot to the next, but these basic Barberis fabrics are extremely consistent, so any differences from one batch to the next will be extremely minor.

Anyway, I'll have everything online tonight with the newsletter planned for about noon EST tomorrow. If you want a suit - particularly one with a DB jacket, then definitely consider ordering it before the NL launch. We've only got about five DB jackets in each color, and they're not on the reorder for late Sept. They'll be a 10% discount code that you can use if you buy both pieces together.

WALT PORTO TROUSER GREY BARBERIS 4-SEASON WOOL PIQUE: $165

WALT PORTO TROUSER NAVY BARBERIS 110S WOOL PIQUE: $165

Thank you for the very kind words! It's a wool/cashmere blend but that's all I know about it.

Just ripped the stitching at the top of the front right pocket on a pair of trousers trying to put a wallet in thanks to another bout of rapid weight gain.

Managed to put on another ten pounds this past week connecting with extended family.

It's now overdue on becoming time to eat less and resume exercising. biggrin.gif

I like the complaints of weight gain followed by a post with a pic of your McDonald's breakfast! lol (FWIW, I'm in the same boat and need to learn to eat less)

Ripstop chinos coming in any other colors? Like maybe, brown? I see olive is up on the site, but holding my breath maybe brown will make an appearance too!

Brown (chocolate) is an option for MTO

Speaking of ripstop - I'd love to be able to get those fabrics in a Walt or Rudy fit.

Holy shit, Ripstop made a return!? Fantastic...and kopped.

Now praying no Canada Post strike tomorrow.

First of two EFF Suits arrived yesterday - grey fresco w/ MOP buttons. So light, and the fit right out of the box is spot on.
