Not for me. Consult Mike.

@tricky yup, most people take the same size (I do as well). I'm confident that you would.

The only thing about the Taylor & Gable is sensitivity at the waist closure. Since it comes up to your navel (or just a bit under), the fit depends a lot on your stomach. Many guys have to get it let out or taken in to have a precise fit there. We built in a lot of seam allowance for that very reason.

I'll be grabbing a pair or two of Taylors today. If you wear just a shirt, I could see how it would be a bit much for some, but if you have a jacket or sweater, the look is great, and they are comfortable AF. And wearing them with suspenders (side tabs, no loops) has been a revelation.

They are comfortable AF is right!  Great thigh and seat fit, super comfy when sitting, where Driggs and Walts can be a bit snug.  That pleat really does work well.

Depending on fabrics I may grab one too, its just a tough look to pull off IMO unless wearing with more than just a shirt, but thats just me and how I view myself wearing them.  Mike can wear only a shirt and look boss as seen on IG.

I love the Taylor. I think it will be my go to from now on. I take a 33 in Taylor and 33 in Walts as well now.

This event may be pressing me to spring for Taylors.

I normally wear a 29 in wool Rudys and I found the legs of the Gable in size 31 to fit about right.

Of course, I have strange proportions; even when I had a 28" waist I found the legs of the 29 Rudy to fit better in wools, and a size 30 for linens.  Also, most of me is an XS in Epaulet shirts but I need a 16.5" neck. :rotflmao:

Where do you guys get suspenders from? I'm pretty lost if EP doesn't carry it haha

Guys, if you want the best in your life, try Taylor high rise. I have similar high rise trousers from different maker and it's my go to fit. Tricky knows lol.

I tried the Gable and love it so may have to jump on a Taylor in something interesting.

Speaking of EFF - wearing the Hunter Green check from a Gitman round. Love this shirt.

Personally, I follow Luxeswap's ebay shop. Always has suspenders there every week. Not my thing, but as an intro, wouldn't mind picking up a pair on the cheap.

I snagged some from Chipp Neckwear to try out; haven't had a chance to wear them but they look nice in the packaging. :D

They're cut to order and you can choose the color of both the strap portion and leather keepers.

@CanadaCal haha, I think that everyone can do it with a shirt. The Taylor is more easily worn without a jacket IMO when it's wool. And I've worn my cotton Taylors with t-shirts and sneakers.

Still working on it, I'm having some programming issues with getting the variants to go online. Will keep everyone posted.

I must admit I considered buying the "vintage tropical air force blue" sight unseen. :rotflmao:
