The Epaulet SF thread: come for the clothes, learn about photography and legal satorial rationale. I'm definitely becoming more well-rounded!

Mike, on another note, these shoes:

Tennis Trainer Low Fatigue Monochrome

I need another pair of shoes like I need another jacket, or shirt, or pants, or belt...

But I'm captivated by this olive green sole. Any chance of running that sole with a different color upper? Like ghost grey, alabaster, or blue, or even gray suede? That would be killer and totally unusual.

Got the white tennis trainers today. Couldn't be more impressed out of the box. Fit was spot-on, which I was worried about. (I normally wear 9D dress shoe, though I measure 9.5D, and ordered a 9.) It's a little weird getting a sneaker that smells like actual leather.

They fit as if you could wear both sizes IMO, if anything I would say they run longer than a typical 9.

And I'm really considering getting a GAT or Tennis Low and splatter painting them...  Been thinking about it for a while....

For those that wanted Chelsea boot shots in the wild:

Extremely comfortable out of the box. I was a bit concerned about having slightly narrow feet (I wear a 10.5 C in most Alden lasts -- Copley, Aberdeen, even Barrie), but going TTS 10.5 worked just fine. This makes my third footwear purchase from Epaulet's in-house line (other two are sneakers) and I'm really impressed with the product quality so far. I would love to see desert boots!

I was also nervous about the fit.  Being a C width myself your review is very much appreciated.  Now I'm certainly looking forward to getting my pair Monday!

Sweet! And of course one of the ones pictured is the fabric I almost got... This is a really neat program that you do, always anxiously awaiting the next round. Speaking of, anything else in the works?

Awesome- I see my fabric there, and I've been consolidating a few items until this one was ready. Woo...new gear coming smile.gif

Interested in the Rivet Chinos. Would someone be so kind as to provide me with the back rise measurements for the Rivet chinos in size 30. Thanks!

Picked mine up today in store and sweet lord the Rainbow in the Dark madras above (which I didn't get) is amazing. If anyone has one of those in a Medium, or a White Somelos Whisper Chambray, that they're interested in selling to me/trading, drop me a line.

But as is, my Albini Circle Print Linen, Blue/Sand Madras, Olive Batik Madras, Blue Cayman Islands, and Indigo Hand Tie-Dye are amazing.
