I'm thinking blonde or tan horn, 3-roll-2, open patch hip/welt breast, side-adjusters on pant.

You just described my exact order. Ended up going White MOP though for a bit of "colombian drug lord" vibe.

Sounds good, though I'd go two-button unconstructed on such an open weave and textured fabric. My preference is always for the tan horn buttons.

EDIT: My preference is actually always for MOP buttons, but of the horn options the tan is far and away my favorite. If SW though had off-white and blue MOP (as Lubiam does I believe) I'd just as often go with those, likely.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I'd been thinking that with a natural shoulder, I could wear this as a suit in my fairly conservative office, or as an odd jacket.  Maybe that's more than I can achieve with this.

Sure, that's very possible. I'm not sure I think an unstructured shoulder is necessarily casual; it might have read that way in the 90s but less so today, when it's more to do with the fabric and styling. But anyway you know your office better than we all do. SW's natural shoulder is excellent and it'd make a great separates jacket with the patch pocket/breast welt.

For that open weave fresco I did unconstructed, smoked MOP.

I was copying a suit my late grandfather had. The color of that was more like the light grey Hardy Minnis and I think it had flap pockets though.

+1 for this makeup: unconstructed and smoke MOP. I'd also do it with open patch pockets.

IIRC I did patch hip pockets and welt breast but don't remember exactly off the top of my head. smile.gif

I contacted the great EDDIEMCZEE. I went with Welt Breast, Hipe Inset Flap Pockets w/ticket Pocket/Brown Horn Buttons/Unstructured Shoulder. Going to use it as a suit.

Last EFF I did this configuration -- except with smoke MOP buttons -- with the REDA Crosshatch Fresco as a suit. Will see if I can post a photo tomorrow.

Since we have similar builds I think, do you mind me asking what alterations you made? My current EPNY medium shirts have been getting snug across the chest area and when I got measured in the shop, I was just gonna add and inch in the chest as well a box pleat and darts. I tried ordering a test shirt about a month ago but they ran out of stock of the fabric haha.

Sure! I worked off a medium which I like wearing untucked and unbuttoned with OTR measurements.

But definitely speak to Mike if you're increasing chest because he needs to put in some other measurements in the body to offset that if you don't want to change the body width.

So I did...

CHEST 35 (an extra 1")

SHAPING -6 (Mike's recommendation in order for body not to change based on Chest increase)

TAIL LENGTH 30 (2" extra length as I will tuck all these in for work)

YOKE 17.5 (Standard)

RIGHT CUFF 9.5 (Standard I believe)

LEFT CUFF 10 (Increase to accommodate Patek watches...haha ok perhaps not PP)

RIGHT SLEEVE 34 1/4" (just a 1/4" added)

LEFT SLEEVE 34 1/4" (same as above)

COLLAR: 16 1/4" (hope to actually be able to button one for once)
