@brp2 no, you should be good to go - we've delivered a lot of Heirlooms with the wooden buttons, but I haven't heard of any issues.

Am i reading this right that the total price is $410?  If so, quite a bargain!

@concealed yup, there's a few shoes available in that category...

http://epauletnewyork.com/collections/private-footwear-sale

These were all shoes & boots that were produced via pre-order and the balance was never paid. So we took the deposit out of the retail and listed them there.

I'm at a bit of a crossroads with Alden pre-orders, honestly. Obviously it's good business for us (cut to order, no inventory, guaranteed sale), but we mostly do it because I love Alden. I like making new versions of their styles and it's a great service to our customers who need pre-orders to obtain their sizes. It's nice to sell 12 Indy boots, but our Unfinished Horse trainers did nearly 800 units between their two preorder rounds. And its difficult when guys who take sizes like 13EEE and 6E abandon the shoes. It's definitely your lucky day if that's your size, but we're working with a really small pool of people.

The deposit forfeits have been happening with increasing frequency, so I think we'll have to up the deposit to 50% for non-stock sizes and widths. That way we're at least covered for the cost of the product if we end up stuck with it. I'll see how this clear-out goes.

Haha, oh man. Freeman's has always had good press exposure, and honestly, I do really respect their commitment to first world manufacturing. They could have pulled a "Saturdays NYC" move and off-shored everything years ago. But they still do a lot of production here, and it's nice to have them as a fellow Southwick account.

Can anyone post a photo of an Epaulet shirt with the "PT compact point collar"?  I'm trying to nail down my first epaulet shirt and I'd like to see what that one looks like if possible.

Nice!!!!

I agree that a 50% deposit might reduce forfeits, however maybe those should be reserved for non stock sizes?

Did anyone order a suit a in Gauzy Rainbow Herringbone? What is the base color of the fabric. What color buttons did you go with? Also, Mike, is there enough fabric in this material to do a matching vest?
