that Persian blue is soooo sharp

Mike I've been a big fan lately of the Rudy fit with a Walt leg opening (8.25).  Is that something we can do for this EFF?  :slayer:

@RuleOfRescue yessir, put it into the notes. Just do me a favor and double the opening (say 16.5" leg opneing)

REDA Charcoal Fresco going up now - it's the primo pic for a killer charcoal suit. Got enough to do 10 of them.

And Super 150s Hardy Minnis silver suiting is the single best deal in this entire round. If you want a light grey suit, then this stuff will blow you away.

@Epaulet how does the weight of the Persian Blue compare to the navy windowpane from last EFF? Maybe it's easier if I ask how the Persian Blue compares to the Midnight Navy Fresco from this time.

I have the navy windowpane from the previous event and it's definitely a fall or colder suit for my location. Maybe early spring.

Ironically, I mostly wear suits during the summer due to the seasonal nature of my job, so I'm mostly looking for very light summery fabrics like the Navy Fresco and Gunmetal(?) crosshatch from the last round's lightweight ends.

I'm pretty much set on suits for other seasons after going nuts during the last Southwick EFF.

@cyclohexane I agree, you've got all of the basics covered. The Persian blue windowpane is probably the only suit that I'd recommend for you - unless you want to pick up a linen one when I get into the seasonal fabrics.

It's freaking amazing. The color is punchy and beautiful. Would make a boss sportcoat too, so it works as separates. I'll post a natural light pic with the swatch in a minute.

I just ordered the 150's pearl grey. I love the Persian Blue but I got the Navy Windowpane from last round and they are too similar.

@eljlakers didn't find that, but I have a very nice Dark Sand micro-tooth that might fit the bill. I'll put that up next. It's the only wool suiting that we have in that color family.

Thanks, Mike! I'll think about it. Hopefully someone buys up the Persian Blue before I make a decision. wink.gif

I always feel like an extra light grey is handy to have but I wore mostly identical light grey subtly-textured suits for several years, so I've been leaning towards the bluer side of the spectrum as I replace those old cheap suits.

Definitely will look at the linens. I get the most wear out of summer suits and linen jackets, so any awesome linen fabrics automatically receive consideration.

I am really torn between the medium grey and the silver grey.  I would automatically pull trigger on the silver grey but worried that it maybe too light (color) for my taste.  Is it similar to the pearl grey flannel color ?

@asewonder not with our new model, but trust me - it's way better than the old "Napoli" shape. @bkotsko will be my witness on this one!

@asewonder the 2 button on the new unconstructed came out really nice.

I asked for a 3 roll 2, but I was really happy with the 2 button when it came through.

Do you know what has changed from the previous unstructured model? Or if the over all fit changed?

@SherifEnt I'm hyping up the S150s just due to the fabric's value, but you're right - the Med Grey Guabello is a slightly easier and more versatile tone. You absolutely can't go wrong with that - the usual retail for the Guabello stuff is 1250, so it's still a great fabric at a slamming price.

@FLW we essentially made the Vittorio jacket with Southwick.
