I took part in the previous EFF from Southwick. Cannot beat the value.  I can't wait for this round.

Ugh. USAA hates it when I order from Vass. I have to get a pre-auth every time, which only lasts for 24 hours. And between the time difference and Reszo's schedule, it always takes several days to get it done.

On the upside, USAA is a great bank. And Vass shoes are awesome.

Received the Cardiff today. The makeup is wonderful, and the Plaza really provides great shape to the boot. The depth of color and richness of the chromexcel can't be highlighted enough; mine personally has a nice amount of red undertone that takes it out of that matte-brown palate. Detailing is great, and while not a brass guy at heart, I love the contrast of the eyelets. Low-profile commando is great for out in the wild, but the overall shape of the boot would still work for a suit in a casual setting with the subdued captoe detail. As bizcaz as you want here.

Cell phone pics:

TBH, as soon as I ordered it, I had a twinge of the conscience, thinking,"dude, did you really need that one?" Upon receipt the conclusion is, "Frankly, yes. Yes I did." It's fantastic. You won't be disappointed if you get in on this one.

Mike, if this ever fabric turns up be sure to let us know. I think it was @EP Sam that emailed saying it had gone missing:

That is an awesome looking fabric, I'd pick that one up as an odd jacket for sure.

Today, I also ordered five shirts from the new Individualized linen/summer swatches because I needed to try out my credit card after verifying the charges... Right. satisfied.gif

I do get a lot of wear out of my cheapo linen shirts, so it makes sense in my mind to splurge on some nice ones now... happy.gif

What ones did you end up going with if you dont mind my asking? I'm always curious what options people opt for.

Did the Thomas Mason striped,, white, and blue microgingham, the Laguna, and the sky blue. Mitred cuffs, and asked for unlined Artisan collars.

Contemplated going with a band collar on the sky blue especially after seeing a similar shirt while streaming TV on Netflix, but I'll get more use out of the blue shirt with the Artisan collar.

Nice choices! I really like the white and the sky blue. I'd love a nice white linen shirt but that one is outside of what im willing to spend on linen while living in Canada. I'm planning on ordering the Laguna as well, it's a gorgeous summer shirt and I can't wait to see how it makes up.

I'm excited to see what comes with the EFF today. Will all models be available @epaulet? The unstructured shoulder is always a favorite for me.
