Good to hear about same prices. I was actually just informed Im in a wedding and the attire is navy blue suits. Could use a new one.

@Epaulet Didn't you mention last time that the unstructured shoulder works well even on slim and skinny guys?

 yup, but this round is based way more on suiting and less on sportcoats. I have all sorts of awesome fabrics, including an insane 150s pearl grey wool. This is the best pricing on Southwick MTO suits in easy solids that the world has ever known.

Question for you guys - they've got some ends on Harris Tweeds and other crazy Fall goods, would you guys want to see them? Not sure if its worth shooting & presenting them

Um.,,yes??! smile.gif

I know it's a long shot, but any chance for one-off vest options in lighter weight fabrics?

@epaulet
Can you give a brief explanation of Black Fleece and how about a preview of that pearl grey. I'm specifically looking for a light colored grey suit as well as something in a true black (especially a black pinstripe). I've been hoping for a EFF Southwick even as I really have my sizing nailed down.

Oh shit. I loved some of the Black Fleece stuff but was not about to drop money on a super short jacket with 1 inch lapels. This is kind of a dream come true.

Hell yes! It may be out of season, but I always wear way more suits and jackets in the fall and winter anyway. Easier to justify to my conscience/wife.

That, and I still have nightmares about one of the one-off tweeds that I left sitting on the rack from the last EFF round...

Black Fleece was Brooks Brothers' foray into the more avant garde side of mens fashion. Lots of trad-inspired stuff but done to an extreme (think shockingly bright plaids, exploded houndstooth checks, etc.)

Take a quick spin on google (use the abbreviation BBBF instead of "Black Fleece," lest you get 2 billion pics of North Face jackets) to see what it was all about.

EDIT: I should also mention that BBBF did sometimes use more subdued suiting fabrics, especially plain navy and gray. The cut of the jackets was always very directional, but the fabrics were hit or miss.

I want a black suit made out of North Face jacket material

is that not what is being offered

Same, especially if Forest Nymph can be found again, or a smaller-scale guncheck.

@Epaulet

Mike, if this ever fabric turns up be sure to let us know. I think it was @EP Sam that emailed saying it had gone missing:

Definitely would love to see some tweeds, missed out on the Teflon and Forest Nymph last time!

Yes let's see the fall stuff! I like considering the more interesting and crazy options.

@Epaulet

A couple questions before I put in my order for some warm weather pants:

- Is the Grey Yarn Dye Twill on the MTO page the same fabric as the stock Walts?

- Any shots of the Cotton Chambray 1832 made up? If not, would you say that fabric will read almost like a lighter denim alternative? I bought a pair of the Blue Portuguese Cotton Oxford last year and just want to make sure the 1832 isn't too same-y to that fabric.

Si. Yes.

Mike -- it's worth shooting and presenting Harris Tweeds and other fall fabrics. Thanks.

Although it should be quicker than 8 weeks, there are no guarantees and no way to rush it through with this off-price promo

Saw this and decided to get a jump on submitting a natural linen jacket through Southwick MTO.  Had been waffling on whether to replace a similar, much cheaper jacket I've owned for a few years.  Finally decided to just go for it and get it ordered before the EFF.

Of course, my credit card decided to flag the charge the first time I tried to order ("TOO MUCH EPNY"); if only they were this vigilant when it came to actual fraud. ;)

Now I'm looking at the new linen swatches from Individualized... :rotflmao:

Hahah my credit card company did the same thing when I put in a 5 shirt order from Individualized. Funny thing is that my first purchase with this card was a pair of shoes from Vass. I decided it was best to warn them about the $700 CAD (or so) order from Budapest that time.
