Bad Day at Black Rock is on TCM.

Robert Ryan is wearing a Gable type trouser. Good looking pant.

I think a few weeks ago, we were told they would be here a few weeks ago. So, sound as if we are still nowhere.

Are those double leather soles?
I bought those shoes as well.

Anyone who owns these beauties go off the grid and sport thicker laces?

@ebong they're scheduled to fly out from Portugal on Tues-Wed, received in NYC a few days after that. My apologies, I meant to put it in the newsletter. We projected April at first, but each of those crepe soles is shaped by hand and the factory took some extra time. I'm really sorry for the delay, but they do the finest crepe work at that price point that I've ever seen, so it will be worth it!

@tricky we just made a single item - the Rudy in Navy Wool hopsack. I haven't had a chance to shoot them yet. But if anyone wants a pair, just drop us an email - they're $265, just like the Navy Hopsack Walts.

@cyclohexane that's a boss match, I love the brown jacket and natural boot combo!

I was wearing my black MA-1 yesterday with the Black Combat boots (not pictured)

@L.I.T. so, there's an reason for that. I'm typically gung-ho about side entry hip pockets on every jacket. When a guy first tries on a jacket - any jacket - he often looks for a place to put his hands. If it only has patch pockets and they're small and awkward, he'll often pass on it.

The Field Jacket patch pockets are big and pretty low-slung, so they're easy to put your hands into. I walk around with my hands in them all the time. Our original sample had a side-entry design as well, but it made the pocket really bulky - and it's already pretty generous to begin with. So we ax'd that.

One of my uncles, who collects a great many things, says that once you have three of anything you have a collection. Ergo, I am a field jacket collector. Therefore, I must buy the Epaulet field jacket.

How's THAT for rationalization?

@katabatic I like how you think :fistbump:

Also, with the Rudy fit, what are the odds of getting moleskin in as a trouser fabric for Walt/Rudy makeups? There's a lot of great Rivet Chino MTO stuff, but the options are more limited on the Rudy offerings. I'd love to see the moleskin or ripstop fabrics.

@JVK1 we had an entire selection of moleskin fabrics available for the Rudy fit this past Fall. I only took them offline as they're more of a Spring-Summer item.

The price is $215 and we should have all five colors available. You can just email or call if you want to buy a pair.

I suspect this has been asked elsewhere, but is that the same navy hopsack available in the MTO jackets - i.e. stock pant purchase could result in a suit later?

Certainly not my most flashy item but really love these MTO driggs in Solid Stone Linen

Found myself in the LES shop today. Adele and Peter were most welcoming and it was great to finally see the mothership.
Only grabbed that Ventura stripe NE shirt, which is super rad! Pretty sure I can now get in on any preorder with sizing success!

@Epaulet

Thanks Mike!

I don't like to mix leather footwear colors with black leather jackets, but I feel like I can get away with combining colors with shades of brown.

If I'm a full 42R OTR, what size would I be in the field jacket? I'm usually an L in most things, but 44" chest measurement seems a bit slim for a piece of outerwear.
