I'm down for joining a navy Bengal with artisan collar gang! One more and we can be a barbershop quartet. Also I am a weak impulsive man I just kopped another waffle knit in forest! I've opted for Java as well in the same shape.

Hilarious.

I'm one of the guys with a "boring" charcoal shawl cardigan.:D

Funny the looks I get wearing that down here. Like "what the hey?" But I dig the color cause I feel the need to down play it here, plus it gives a SWD vibe.....

But one is enough in S. Fl.!

Those were originally detailed by @sacafotos - he was the dude to pick out those baller fabrics!

@sacafotos any chance you remember which fabrics you picked? They are great.

They should both be pinpoint oxfords, I believe in the $165 tier. Since I paid with PayPal at a trunk show, they invoice I got didn't have all the details you'd typically find from an order placed online.

Glad you liked them! I think my second batch came out great.

Mike,

Is a grey/olive/brown mix a pretty accurate description of derby? Hard to discern from the pics.

I asked a similar question a few pages back, and every response told me Derby reads as an Olive Green IRL.

Yeah, it's a mix of all three of those colors in reality. I'd say that it reads more olive than the others though

@Nik Telford we're going to be one ass-kicking barbershop quartet!

Mike...

Quick question about construction of the trousers. There are plastic/transparent threads that hold the top of the back pocket and waistband together. I assume these are removable for waist/seat alterations? If so, can these be left off after alteration or should they replaced?

Thanks!

The "Finestra" Sample

Okay, it's been a few weeks, but our swaggy chambray sample shirt just came in. Inspired by the costume design on Vinyl, I spec'd out the following:

Unlined Artisan Collar

Dual Flap Chest Pockets

Shoulder Epaulets

Indigo Chambray

And... I'm kind of in love with this shirt! Especially paired with the cotton Taylor pants. I feel like it's something that Helmut Newton would wear on a photoshoot in Joshua Tree park.

What do you guys think? Any fabric could be "Finestra-ized" for $25 extra, or you can do the extra pocket for $10 and epaulets for $15.

Love it. Definitely planning on getting at least one finestra on my next order.

Shirt looks great Mike. Definitely more contemporary than I was expecting. I'd likely go double chest pockets abd drop the epaulets, but that's just s personal choice. Fabric looks great too
