The challenge now - completely forget that I pre-ordered the shell alt wiens, so it's a wonderful surprise when I hear they've come in...

I hear patience is a virtue, just not one of mine.

Apparently this character needs to stand up straight more (and shave).

Baby camel hair EFF jacket and Olive Garands.

I just received an e-mail stating that Epaulet is closing its Brooklyn store to expand beyond its NYC base. Can you say where?

Well, wishful thinking.

+1 of course its TO.  I do think a rowdy winter truck show should certainly be in our future :nodding:

Anyone have any idea what the Brooklyn sample/clearance might include, specifically with regard to shoes?

Debating if it's worth schlepping over from NJ

Gotta think LA

Well it's sure not going to be DC...nothing ever comes to DC ಠ_ಠ

I hope the BK employees land on their feet...

My serious guess for an additional store would be LA
My wishful thinking (read: never happen) guess would be Hartford lol

Could be the Europe sales, could mean expanding the NYC location. Could be anything the way I read it. Best of luck regardless.

Here is my guess (before Mike replies):

They mean expanding their operations but not brick and mortar stores (unless maybe a larger store in Manhattan).

EP just left LA a couple of years ago, remember.

With how much of their business is now done through pre-orders, MTOs, and the like, how big of a physical footprint does EP really need?

This was my guess as well.

My theory is that based on the level of online sales they seem to do, including the MTO and pre-order stuff, and how fervent of a fan base they seem to have places like here, Instagram, Reddit..., they probably decided to focus on expanding their online offerings and operations and that maintaining two separate locations in two high-rent areas so close together wasn't worth the expense.

All that said, I work in economic development and site selection and if Epaulet did want to expand their footprint, I'd be happy to help them find some real estate here in Metro Detroit!

Without Epaulet I'd never have ventured to Cobble Hill. Great location. Rents and Real Estate are getting crazy there though.

I'd be stoked if they re-opened in LA as I just discovered EP when they shut down the first time, but don't see them doing it versus expanding the online presence and opportunities like EP Europe.
