When the sample comes through, I'll post a bunch of photos and do a video with Jim where were show maybe 10 fabrics which really lend itself to that shape. I think that it's a $20 upcharge for both the second pocket and epaulets, but any Individualized fabric can be ordered that way. We'll call it the "Finestra"
How about this Mike. Since they are making the flap pockets, maybe they could sell the top flap and pocket and I could have my tailor sow them on.

The "Finestra"- That is great.

Does anyone have experience with the Calgary Blucher? They're currently on sale and I like how they look.

@bry2000 @FLW @FrankCowperwood @Epaulet

Thanks for the comments.

FLW got it right. Hopefully I can nail down the size since I want to eventually pick up a few pairs in wool to wear in the office. I actually like the cotton fabric of the Taylor trousers. It's not too thin and is light and soft. Actually I would not think there is a need to break in the pants but I guess it depends how hard wearing you like your trousers. For my sedentary lifestyle I think they would be quite comfortable. I'd agree it would take more time than wool for the lines to settle and hang cleaner. I am also mindful that a good alteration tailor can help with a cleaner overall seat and leg.

@dalevy
I recall I tried on the Walt in wool flannel more than a year ago in size 32 but found it too slim (pocket flare--I was also much more active in the gym). The size 33 in the Walt fit quite large by comparison. Contrast that to the Taylor trousers, size 33 felt great in the waist and with the pleats no pocket flare or tightness in the seat. My problem is always the seat and how much the pocket flares, also with rise o the pants. I think even 10" rise can be uncomfortable during those long days in the hot seat. The waist and inseam can be managed (the Taylor trouser for what it's worth does have ample fabric in the waist to make alterations).

Hey guys!

Here's some recent photos of assorted stuff:

Delancey High in Red/Black/White Grained Calfskin. Words can't say how dope these on in real life.

Innsbruck Indy in Brown Chromexcel - we just built out a fresh preorder item for this today!

Individualized Shirt in Cezaire Red & Blue Mix. One of the best makeups that I've seen yet.

My well-worn in Black Couro Cromo Combat Boots. We've got a single unit in size 9 still available.

Individualized shirt in Ivory Albini Linen. This will go live as a fabric option later this week. Soft Artisan collar on that too!

This awesome floral print has been restocked at Individualized as well - it will go online later this week too. Shown with the Navy Pique Vittorio jacket and AP Royal Oak Chrono

Out of all the Election memes out there, this one is particularly well done.

Just send a message to contact[at]epauletnewyork.com

I thought there were laws that let you grab domains from obvious squatters. There's not even a pretense of a real site at that domain.

If you're not interested it's academic, but still ಠ_ಠ

p.s. I vote for double open pockets on future workwear-style shirts. Still gives that sweet double pocket look but I can put a pen in there without it getting all weird ._.

Bonus points for button-through so the pen doesn't get all tilty.

In order to do this, you need to be able to claim that you own the trademark and that it is a famous mark, that the domain was grabbed intentionally, and that the domain was grabbed for the sole purpose of benefiting commercially from it. It seems clear-cut, but is not.

Makes sense. I see that they do own the trademark, though I didn't think you could TM a normal word by itself?

Well, I suppose that's enough armchair lawyering in the thread for one day

You can trademark a common word for a specific use that is not its common usage.  It's easier to trademark a name that is whimsical - like "Hulu", for example, but certainly, "Apple" is a common word, but in the application of the word to "Apple" Computers, it is trademarked.  I'm not a lawyer at all, but I do have some pretty hands on experience with trademarks and copyrights and have paid lawyers to lecture me on them.

Any update on when you plan to receive restock a on the Navy & Grey Hopsack Walts?

Hah! F-ing finally got in on one of the #8 alt-wien pre-orders. Commando sole is even better for me than the usual leather, as are the matched eyelets.
