Finally got my Southwick EFF jacket back from the tailor and wore it yesterday, awful bathroom shot:

Guessed a bit on sizing, but I'm happy I went with the 42XL, I think just a long would have been too short for my tastes. Ideally I would have preferred a slightly lower buttoning point...is that something Southwick could accommodate on a future order? I like the wider lapels on these, but I wouldn't mind at all if they went even wider in the future. Other than those minor nits, the jacket overall is great. All I had my tailor do on this one was shorten the sleeves (probably should have gotten regular length instead of long) and nip the waist a bit.

Here's a better shot of the fabric, which is bonkers:

I know it isn't one of the more bonkers options, but I am considering the Whisper Chambray in white and the video labeled as such actually seems to be the video for the pink & white summer oxford. Could an update be made to the videos page or the white whisper chambray video be made available?

I can probably figure out the gauziness of the fabric from the other videos, but I'm apparently a fabric nerd and like to see the cloth in action :embar:

Mike,

I'm inbetween the XS and S on the linen madras.

I know that the chest is a little tight on the XS for me, but the shoulders are perfect. Given it is linen what do you think?

Very happy with the Cloud Grey Sport Trainers from Epaulet, definitely helping me kill it for Spring/Summer! Hope to have some more pics soon.

Also, just snagged the (last?) 11.5 in the brown Calgary boot... couldn't resist at that sale price icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I'm new to Epaulet, but I'm loving everything from customer service and interaction, to fit, and sales!

@Epaulet

Would it be possible to get a side by side comparison pictures of the Fashion Spread and the Medium Spread collars from Individualized the way there's shots of the Bond Button-down, Wide-spread button-down and the PT compact button down? I'd be lying if I said I could see much difference based on the illustrations on the order page.

I snagged the last size 10 in the brown cowhide.  I guessed on the sizing when comparing to my trainers so I'm hoping they work out.  If not, and it's the size you want, I'd be happy to send them to you for less.  Also disappointed to see that line go, I liked the ruggedness.  I will be looking forward to new footwear options though.

Picked up my Gable Trousers today! They are a bit tight so ill probably be taking them to the tailor soon and getting the waist and thighs let out. I guessed on sizing but next time ill size up. Really happy with them though!

And thank you for getting the Dio reference! Why the hell didn't we sing that at Karaoke?

And any place that's musically the 80s every day is my kind of place. Next time, Mike, will bust out Dio after some Billy Squier deep cuts.

But for real this EFF is insane. Some amazing stuff. Will the linen shirts make up any larger than the cotton shirts? Some past New England linens (I'm thinking the fabled Navy Stars fabric) made up roomier.

And as long as I've got that linen Navy Stars shirt on my mind, do any of the linens here have that kind of ultra-light ultra-soft feel to them?

@applky Linen shirts definitely make up a bit larger on average. If you think about the fabric, it's more open and heavier than a light cotton and tends to be blousy. You'll never have that really sharp fit with linen. But you shouldn't try to IMO, that slightly relaxed look is a pretty key part of the style. Look at the shape on this pic:

versus this cotton shirt...

Same cut pattern, same measurements, but a much more relaxed profile on the linen. It's really part of the feeling, and on a hot day, the last thing that you want is a skin-tight woven garment.

All of the linens are really luxe - but the Albini ones in particular are amazing. About as soft as a linen can be.

And BTW - thanks to everyone buying that Albini circle print! I love that fabric. I was a little worried that no one would be into it, but it's actually one of the more popular options.

Beautiful pair, brother. Quick question, do you know what polish works best for color 8 cordovan?
