Hey guys couple of quick questions.

How often are new stock trouser fabrics released? Or re-released? Once per season? Or is stock replenished at some point? I am in the market for some dress trousers and absolutely love my grey hopsack Walts. I am interested in a blue (plus other colors perhaps) hopsack (or similarly textured, maybe birdseye) all-season wool pair as well. I see the navy hopsack on the site but not in my size (33). Am I SOL?

I also love the look of the Gable fit but am afraid to buy without trying on - gotta get up to BK at some point.  Do people generally stick to their same size from the Walts? The purple check flannel is bonkers, excited to see some lighter weight stuff in that fit.

Last thought - that Sierra Brown mink pair of Walts in the sale section has to go ASAP before I buy them and have my tailor open them up a bit - just a bit too small but they look beautiful.

Hopsack is kept in stock year-round, I believe. I think blue and gray have both made the cut. These usually get restocked every few moths. Mike can correct me if this is wrong, but that is how it has worked in the past.

I am a 33 Walt as well and I love the Gable. Take your same size. It measures smaller but it also sits on a more narrow part of your body. I also have a pair in linen and strongly recommend checking those out for MTO

EDIT: Speaking of the sale section, is it just me or does the sale section not show up on mobile?

I couldn't find the sale section either the other day. I had to google for it.

Its missing from mobile for me too.  But if you fix the end of the address ending to "/collect" its there.  I have the new arrivals and sale book marked so I rarely use the menus.

Just got my sale group henleys in the mail...if any one wants to trade a size M in any color for white let me know!

edit, clarity: as in I have white and would like to trade for another color.

Hey Mike - think i recall reading recently you were doing a re-stock of the Navy Hopsack Walts?  If so, do you have a sense of when they might become available?

EP Pumpkin Shetland Sweater
EPxGitman I think the name was Sunny Madras
Brooks Brothers Chinos
Rancourt Camp mocs

It was a little bit chilly out this morning so I tossed on a sweater, though I'm betting I'll be taking it off before the end of the day.

@Nik Telford looks great! Nice match on that sweater and shirt

It's much easier to scroll than it is to navigate a mouse - I for one preferred the old format.

Obviously the product trumps all, but just something I've noticed

@Thefenceposts

Thanks for posting that, and very good points. We definitely were balancing the needs of less clicks vs. less clutter. We tend to write a lot of copy for items, and we found that a lot of first-time visitors were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of text that each item would have. But I get where you're coming from too.

And you're definitely right about mobile - that needs quite a bit of help. It's going to be our next project.

@Mr. Six excellent! This new shirt is going to be a different overall fit and construction, but we can match things up remotely using measurements from that flannel. And Individualized has rad womens collars and pockets.

Will the Calgary Blucher be restocked at any point?  Kwanon just posted a pic and those kicks seemed like something I need to have, especially at that price point.  Love the entire footwear line though.

@Medoc Right now I don't have any restocks planned on the Calgary line, but I should have some news for you guys in a day or so.

@fal32 sure, they can do metal eyes in any style. We use them on the Combat boot. But it has to be used throughout the entire run, so it's unfortunately not possible as an option for GMTO's. But we could do a GMTO where all of the units have brass eyes.

@kthoag we overloaded the factory with MTO's during out last promotion and they're just finishing up the last of them now. So they'll start work on our seasonal Spring order. It should be here in a month or so.

We'll stock Navy & Grey hopsack in Walt, Rudy, Driggs, and Taylor - sizes 30 through 36 @AloysiusSF

Additionally we'll bring in some stock Walts and one or two stock Taylors in seasonal fabrics.

For the Gable, the sizing is very much on point with the Walts, but the style has to be for you. Most of our guys love the look of it, but plenty of dudes are not ready for the hi-rise leap. You can always order a pair in your Walt size and see if you dig how it looks in person.

Upcoming Projects

Hey guys!

First off, thanks for all of the Southwick orders! We've got some great stuff in work for you already. Here's some new things that we have on deck for the next few weeks:

1. Hertling MTO "Sand and Stone" Linens collection: I've got 8 fabrics in neutral grey and khaki tones. We'll have a discounted price of $225 on all of them, and about 6-10 units are available per fabric. There's really nice stuff here, and I shot a video so that you can see everything in HD. Planning to have this live by Friday.

2. Epaulet x Northern Watters Fall 2016 Preorder: a rerun of last year's concept, but with a bunch of new shapes (including toddlers & kids), a few awesome new colors, and even lower prices than last year due to the shifting exchange rate. These are going to be a freaking unreal value. Wait until you see the full-button waffleknit cardigan!

3. "Jim's Picks" - our dude from Individualized is presenting six of his favorite fabrics in a quick video, and you can see three of them made up into full shirts. There's a freaking rad optic white linen in there too

This shifting exchange rate is really killing me on everything else, but at least it seems to be evening out the cost of my sweaters!

Edit: Also will Gable be available for the Hertling MTO?

@Nik Telford I know it's crazy these days, but at least we can help with this!

I think that these new sweaters are going to be your jam. The slim Aran crewneck is freaking perfect and an absolutely killer price. It will be nutzo in their marled colors too.

And yes, you can order any shape for the Hertling MTO. All of the features are there. The fabric stock is a little limited so they marked it down about 15% and we reflected that in the retail pricing. It's a solid deal for really nice Italian cloth.

In for another heirloom sweater! I'll be interested to see the new shape/colors. Didn't get to wear mine a whole bunch from last years run, but I love it nonetheless.

Oh, and Mike, any chance that the Navy hop sack walts will be in store by mid April? I'll be in Nyc and would love to pick up a pair as well as try on the Taylor's!

Those of you received the new Rivet cramertons and felt they were too tight, have they loosened up a lot?

The new style rivets work well for me but just received the cramertons and they're really snug.

Mine were really snug, but seemed to have loosened up just enough. I just wore them around and did some squats and stretches. They are a pretty good fit, slim but not too tight.

Thanks @wooderson that's good to know. I'll try them again and see.

And watch the leather man...

So, I'm happy to say that we officially changed over our inventory system to be wholly integrated between website and brick n' mortar.

All of the new items that we receive are booked into this shared pool. I can't eliminate counting mistakes completely, but this should radically cut down on our online stock-out situations.

We also have a new, faster credit card system. We had issues with it on Saturday night, but it seems to be working very well since then. If anyone has any problems, please shoot me a quick email or post here, as we're still in the troubleshooting phase.

Next step is a big overhaul of the mobile site with larger pictures and better-integrated zoom functions.

It is a natural progression to become more efficient and corporate-like. It is cool to be one who was there at the beginning and can say "I was there at the beginning." I was.

There is a sadness in me, though, that we have left the nascent stage of Epaulet in the dust. A strange psychology is at work when one is not angered by a message that an item is out of stock, but is rather nixed by his silliness in not purchasing earlier.

My comment is ridiculous though - so many have purchased so much more from Epaulet than me. Time to work towards being properly attired by a truly fantastic and morally cogent company. Glad I'm part of this universe.
