Is something like that possible?

I need to research to see if there is much difference between an A-1 and an M-65.

YES. Just all around yes. Would drive across the bay to Tampa for this. Hell, I'd call out sick. Mike, it's a great reason to take the family to Disney World/Busch Gardens/Universal (but really just Harry Potter).

In my experience, leather has very little insulating power, but doesn't breath. It wears kind of like a thick (badass) wind breaker.

What about a waxed canvas M-65?

Wears hotter then leather?

Will there be any stock of Rivets in lighter weight fabrics, like cotton oxford?

@rnguy001 - wish that we could, Southwick doesn't share any fabrics with our shirting guys. But hopefully Individualized gets some nutzo prints in for Spring.

@Epaulet

@bkotsko for real, that's amazing! Honestly I didn't even look closely at what that swatch could be. I'll see if we can get a pic of it from the factory, they may have even run a sample in it.

@lifeinabox @fairlynerdy this could actually happen. We'd use the Walt fit and you can specify inseam on it. Would be pricey, probably $250, but it can be done. You could go full pimp and get it with side tabs.

@metranger8694 yup, this would be a solid jacket for Florida. Great weight on it.

@metranger8694 I'd stay far away from waxed canvas for a hot and humid climate. I barely found any opportunity to wear waxed canvas in LA where humidity wasn't a concern.

But duck canvas is an excellent fabric for that kind of temperature. I wore my duck canvas doyle every day on my last visit to FL.

Cheers,
