Absolutely. Mike and team offer some great sport coat options. I would recommend checking out the gable trouser as well. I have a few mto's incoming that I'll post once received. Really great fit. I find the higher rise and single pleat more comfortable.

NY is right, go 42. Most EP cuts are on par with Eidos' Tenero. Slightly slim and short (shorter and slimmer than Tipo, not as skimpy as Balthasar or Nero). I'm a solid 48 in Tipo and go 38 for EP (39 when going MTO)

EDIT: And he is spot-on with Gables, too. Have gray flannel and green linen, love both

Though the Aran Cableknit does sound promising! And @Epaulet you should attach the white dress shirt video to the bottom of the order page for the Individualized white dress shirts. Might help answer some customer question for the customers that dont come here all the time (all 5 of them that is). Thinking of putting in a big Individualized shirt order myself, just deciding what all I want right now.

@Nik Telford

You have 5? That's amazing!

Have to admit, we were thinking of guys like you when we put this together. So we worked on some new designs so you can keep building the collection

The Aran Crew is going to be rad, and the button front will be a really nice shape. Samples should be here in a week or so. We're trying to align a bunch of merchandise with our 4/9 Trunk show in LA.

Good call on the white dress shirt video, my guys are working on how to integrate a video embed as we speak. I'm going to try and do a few each week.

@Beatlegeuse the duck canvas wears really well, even in very hot climates. I think that you'd get a lot of use out of it in Florida. We always got good feedback on the Doyle for that.

The field jackets are really nice.

@metranger8694 It's really valuable when both of you guys post. I actually get a ton of email and phone inquiries from customers in Florida. I'm not entirely sure why, but it's great - Florida is actually a really strong area for us. It's very useful to hear what works best for you guys.

as far as the matching belts go, how do you size for the waist? or do you just send out a size 40 and let everyone cut down to size?

@fox81 The belts are sized - you want to order 1" or 2" above your usual pant size. So if you take a 34 waist, go for a 36. If you're in doubt, always go for the bigger size.

@ahjota oh man, the MTO pants that we've been getting in are amazing. The factory did them all as a batch so some of them are a bit older than your order, but their turnaround was pretty good overall.

@TtownMD totally agreed with @NewYawker - I think that the 42 will be a great fit on you. I think that you're really going to dig the Vittorio!

@rydenfan they should be hitting any day now. We usually give them 6-8 weeks from the order date, and I think that we did that right at the start of Feb.

I think the reason you guys do well in Florida is because your seasonal stuff is wearable here, and we're so starved for good shops down here. I'm pretty sure that Supply & Advise is the only relevant stockist. And well, Tampa Bay is a fashion wasteland.

As a former (and probably future) Floridian, I must say it's the four-season stuff that appeals to us who have to deal with sweltering weather year round and don't want to walk around in flip flops and tank tops all year like our compatriots. I think Rivet Chinos in 8 oz. canvas, lightweight Doyle jackets, and Walts in linen are probably the most useful down there. The footwear as well, obviously.

You guys ever consider doing casual cotton blazers in fabrics like ripstop a la Engineered Garments Bedford? Now that might break the internet.

So is south florida for the most part. I wear what I want but stand out since guys here wear T shirts and shorts in the winter.

I'm thinking about that grey moleskin field jacket.....When I wore my Eidos Burgundy thin wool Field jacket, I got looks like "what the hell is that?"

Not in a bad way, just "huh?"

I'd have a lot more fun living in NY, fo' shizzle.
