bold move ordering functional buttons with modified sleeve length. looks like it paid off.

Seems perfect!  Very nice indeed.

Khaki field jacket looks great, Mike.

How do I deal with my field jacket addiction? I currently have an olive Aspesi, Navy Aspesi, but an Olive and Khaki Epaulet is tempting...

I just watched a 5 minute video about white shirt fabrics!

The one I picked does not seem to be among the top four... cloud.gif

I really can't decide between the khaki and olive field jackets...

This is all true - the promo is going down on Friday. It will include all of the Barberis suiting. So if you got a jacket or a suit from the EFF round and you want to pick up a nice staple suit, this is a great opportunity to do it.

Pearl Gray flannel, 3-roll-2, natural shoulder, single vent, 3 patch pocket config. Hand on the fabric is phenomenal, and lighter weight than I expected.
  Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Grey stripe lining. The client tag on the other side is an excellent touch as well.

Smoke MOP buttons w/ functional cuffs. Surprised how iridescent the buttons actually are - great character.

Went +.5 inches in sleeve and an extra 1.5 in the body, and massively pleased with it. Will nip the waist, but that's to be expected.

Completely sold on your suiting, Mike. Bravo. Pants will get tried on at home, but got my usual Rudy size, so I anticipate they'll be perfect.

@El Argentino glad that it arrived safely! Nice choice on the fabric and I'm thrilled that you're so pleased with it!

@FrankCowperwood haha, we'll be happy to do another video of the one that you like!

@OlafG I'm obviously biased here, but I think that you'll love the khaki field jacket. It's my favorite one that we've done.

I was away on vacation in Hawaii until yesterday and I came back to these boss new field jackets :slayer:

Black Duck Canvas Field Jacket

I think the picture speaks for itself here - I don't wear a lot of black but this piece is seriously perfect!

Khaki Duck Canvas Field Jacket

This is my personal favorite out of all of our field jackets.  It's got a definite safari jacket vibe to it but I think it is much more wearable.

And of course we got crucial restocks in all of the original fabrics:

Loden Moleskin Field Jacket

Grey Moleskin Field Jacket

Moss Duck Canvas Field Jacket

Heavyweight Canvas Scatter Camo Field Jacket

My grey moleskin gets a lot of wear. Highly recommended.

@jm22 if you wear a lot of khaki's then do the olive one. They'll look too matched up otherwise.

But if you wear a lot of jeans, then the Khaki jacket is the ultimate Spring/Summer color IMO.

The smoke buttons and surgeon cuffs are awesome. I love mine and am glad I did that to. Your looks great in that color and glad that it's a good fit!

Love my grey moleskin, but damn that khaki is sweet

@Epaulet

Noooo not another discount on Southwick

A few of my massive tailored clothing wardrobe replacement via the EFF event trickled in right before I had to leave to get on a plane so I was able to try on two of the jackets real fast. Looks like I nailed the sizing pretty well (thanks again to @EP Sam for talking through it via email).

I'm deathly afraid I won't be able to resist one of the new fabrics. Haha

Whoah, I may be in trouble.

I love my EFF sportcoat. It's possible that the shoulders might be a tiny bit large for me. By a very small margin. It's a 44R. Not nearly enough to go down to 42. Can the size be customized to measure or are we locked into the sizing convention?

It's also possible that getting unstructured shoulders would fix the problem.

@peppercorn78 we can do small adjustments to the pattern for guys who have ordered before. So if you have a jacket already, feel free to send a set of photos.

Easy things: adjust length down to 0.5" in body or sleeves, put more or less room at the waist

Hard things: chest (basically can't do anything outside of odd & even sizes), shoulders (we can adjust the shoulder width by a half inch, but that's really it)

@cyclohexane the promo will run from Friday through Monday the 27th, so you'll have some time to nail it down. I just have to have the finalized orders emailed to them by the evening of the 27th.

We've got a good amount of Spring/Summer fabrics - some really great solid linens and some very cool cottons. The big items will probably be the Barberis wools (online now) and a small selection of solid Italian Wool Fresco (like hopsack). There's a dark indigo Fresco which is freaking ace.
