@bradp you could do worse than skimming through @GusW's instagram. And @justinkapur seems as if he might have some thoughts on the topic...

I was there a little over a year ago and didn't do a lot of shopping, but can recommend visiting the Presidio. A lot of beautiful walks and a couple of nice restaurants in the historic buildings.

If you want a kite this time of year, you're going to have to go down the the kite store on Fisherman's Wharf.

I recommend getting a kite.

I'll be in Los Angeles and Palm Springs from the March 15-22. If any locals have any recommendations for shoes/attire. Also.. good Mexican (which I know, is abundant).

Also, @Epaulet any chance my namesake boot will be ready by Mid March? lurker[1].gif

Wear your spring best as it will likely be in the 70s.  Favorite Mexican is neighborhood dependent but I generally stick to the east side - El Tepeyec and King Taco are my usual places but there are dozens more.

First Full day wear on the Cramerton Rivets.  I'm finding the 35 in the new Rivet a great fit and the fabric is among the best chino fabrics I've had :slayer:

@Mike last questions regarding this before you fly over to LA and smack me.

University vs. Trophy collar point lengths? Anyone know?

LEAD Technologies Inc. V1.01

Been going to the gym and the Individualized shirts are tight around mid-section (stomach area). Shoulders are a bit smaller, but sleeve length is good. Chest would need a little bit of room, not sure how much, may be 0.5" total. What do you think?

Plain Back
Chest - we can add 1" (wrapped around the body it's really .5" on each side)
Shaping (mid-section) - we'll add 1"
Yoke (shoulder) - add .5"

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Nope, it's good until Thursday. I had to reissue it so that we could extend it:

@TO Tie Guy

Where are you staying in LA?

And for Palm Springs, my favorite things were Joshua Tree and Cabazon Dinosaurs - which is on the way there from Los Angeles. As a huge Pee Wee's Big Adventure fan it was freaking amazing to visit there.

@badsha yup, I'd agree with your specs - add one inch to the chest and one inch at the stomach. I think that you'll get a great fit in the torso with that.

And when we're talking about these one inch additions, that means all around the garment, so it's only a half inch when measured from the front.
