@Mike is it possible to have no box pleats on the Individualized shirts? Adele responded to my sizing questions. But, I guess factory only works in 1" increments, so Yoke (shoulder) - add .5" would be each side?

@badsha yup, they can absolutely do a plain back. Just put it into the text field. And the yoke can scale by 0.5" increments, so it would be 0.25" per side.

The only things fixed at 1" increments are the chest and the body length

@Epaulet asking again since I seem to have gotten lost in the shuffle earlier smile.gif

For the new linen fabrics in the spring 16 section of the Individualized MTOs, do they make up bigger or should I be asking for some extra room in chest and body? I think sizing up a whole letter size would be too much room in the shoulders (I'm a small dude especially when compared to most people in the US).

Mike does the plain back affect the fit? Meaning would the measurement adjustment be the same?

EP oxford cloth popover.

And speaking of, I've put in my first Individualized order for a couple of basic fabrics with what I think will be a few interesting details.

I went with sky blue oxford and the white pinpoint oxford:

Both in as popovers. I used the curved cutaway on the blue and the standard BD on the white. Both got this square pocket:

I asked for soft collar and cuffs on both.

Made a few adjustments to the EP XL fit. I like that these come without darts.

Looking forward to seeing these.

@FrankCowperwood, those jeans are great! What are they, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks! WH Ranch. If you'd like to wait 6 months for a pair of pants, that's your guy. 😄

Mike will have cranked through a couple of shoes preorders and a few rounds of EFFs in the meantime.

@FrankCowperwood these are going to be amazing. You're going to love that Thames Oxford - I've seen @EP Sam wear it to work quite a few times. It has a nice chambray-like effect where the sea blue and natural threads are really distinct when you look at it closely.

@badsha a box pleat or shoulder pleats add more fabric into the back. If you have a thicker build then it's a way to wear the shirt fitted in the chest and shoulders but still stay comfortable around the upper back, especially while working all day at a desk.

If you have a slimmer build, then no worries either way. The difference in actual fit is pretty minimal and nothing that you have to really adjust for. You won't have a problem with the plain back at all.

@cyclohexane the linen shirts should make up a bit bigger, and then shrink a bit more with the first wash. I'd say to go with your usual size. After our experience with them last year, we found that they're a tough bigger all around, but IMO that works both functionally and stylistically. Linen should be cool and comfortable - you don't want it skin tight. And the fabric doesn't flex or give at all, so it can be unforgiving if its cut too close.
