@Pastor I was at the Kamakura shirts store on madison - they had a collection of shell belts for $150 or so. Can't recall what colors but worth checking out.

What time is kickoff?

What waistband closure do you guys prefer for the MTO wool trousers?
I always prefer the standard extended-tab button closure with zip fly.

Edit: the one without the visible button

Agreed, although I like the button through extended tab on certain materials.

@CanadaCal we're working through the Rivet EFF options right now - lot of great stuff to choose from! We have a nice balance of cottons, dress wools, flannels, and lightweight stuff.

The big addition for this season is Cargo Pockets. You can now do two cargo pockets or just a left or right one.

There's a lot out there, so we'll organize it into categories, like with Southwick. I'll alert you guys to the really exceptional things that are in short supply.

@aldenfan excellent! Just as a heads-up to everyone, we effectively overloaded the Southwick MTO area with how many things we sold. They were thrilled with it, but it means that these are made in sequence, and not as a big batch. And not strictly in chronological order. We're expecting things to keep shipping out over the next four weeks.

That Indigo Windowpane in Taylor is calling my name.

@lifeinabox you will absolutely love it. Windowpane would be so rad in the Taylor.

@Michigan Planner I'm not sure if they use signature confirmation or not, but if they do, then chances are that they won't waive the requirement.

UPS often requires that as part of proof in a lost package dispute - so some companies will not ship insured boxes without it.

Also, what's the weight of the indigo cotton chambray 1832?

@ahjota Linen-cotton is definitely washable. And the Indigo Chambray is pretty lightweight - much lighter than the Sea Canvas that we ran last year.

@Todd V yup, that one is the most popular closure by a mile. It's what we use as standard details on the Walt.

After all the talk of the EFF stuff starting to ship already, I got home from work yesterday and when I pulled into the driveway I saw a box on my porch. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I was excited to walk out onto the porch and get the box... until I realized it was just a changing table for the coming baby. It was nearly the exact same size and shape as those boxes Southwick uses. When I came back inside my wife asked me why I was in such a hurry to get the package off the porch and the she realized the delivery probably wasn't what I was expecting. lol8[1].gif

How does the Rivet compare to the Driggs in terms of cut and sizing?

Sorry to derail Rivet EFF talk, but...

Olive linen Gables ordered!

Are shorts possible this year? Would love those windowpane linens in a short, but I don't think I could pull them off in full trousers.

First wear of first Walts. Stony Beach Donegal EFF.  Love the fit, this won't be the last pair.

@Duke Silver sure, we can do that. Either a 7" (Match Short)  or 9" (Walt Short) Inseam. You can choose the waist details as you like. It would be $15 less than the trouser price. Probably best to order through the site and email us right afterwards. We'll then refund you the $15 and confirm things.
