For those who wear the Inca last, do you go with the same size in the Rain last?

I have several pairs of Rain lasted shoes and one pair in Inca last (double monk). They are all in the same size (8UK). I find the lace-up Rain lasted shoes to fit me pretty close to perfect while the Inca last DM fits very slightly looser. It is very slight and sizing down definitely would not work for me on the Inca DM. I do have a pair of Rain lasted single monks (Epaulet Rand) that is clearly looser fitting than the Inca DM (but wearable). In this case, it may have worked sizing down, but I'm not sure.

oh shi~, dat sale.
1) Mike, what is the period for honoring a post-purchase markdown? Just bought a heavyweight RC a couple of weeks ago, they're even still chilling out in the store waiting to become a part of a bigger shipment

2) I remember some confusion with the navy label sizing where the sizes got accidentally shifted, is it fixed with the currently stocked items? Also, how does it compare to the Ashland in terms of fit (looking at a medium).
Ok, for the first question, found the answer in the policies section: the period is 7 days. Could have saved 50 bucks, oh well

So much in that sale is so tempting. Sadly I've moved to a one in / one out policy for clothes and shoes, and I don't know what I'd kick out anymore.

Just popping in to give a shout out to Epaulet's customer service. I recently ordered a pair of shoes from them..unfortunately the wrong size was delivered!

A quick chat on the phone and 15 minutes later, I get a shipping notification for the correct size. Considering that this whole deal involved two pairs of Aldens in shipping limbo, it speaks volumes to their level of commitment.

I'll be dealing with them in the future, no doubt!

I keep putting the Salinger Dub Monks in my cart and then never following through. I have reservations about the fit and the sleekness of the last. Anyone else go through this apprehension but then get them and be glad they did?

Yeah I did. Even passed on them when I visited NYC this summer. But at this price point it's hard to say no to. They arrived yesterday and I'm glad I did it.

And so, who grabbed the saddle salingers in the end?

Do you guys think their shape goes well with chinos/casual etc.? Saddle looks more casual to me than say burgundy as well.

For those that get their rivets tapered on the bottom. Do you usually start from the knee? Should the width of the pants where you roll the cuff be the same to keep it cleaner?

I guess, what I am asking.....what direction to you give the tailors when tapering your rivets?

Nothing convinces you that you need something like seeing it sold out on the internet :rotflmao:

Nothing reassures you more that you bought the right item last night than seeing it sold out this morning. ;) super pumped for mocha wool rivets.
