Question: does EP offer Rivets in Desert Tan in the normal 8oz or only in the 10oz heavy canvas?

Thanks Sam! I love this jacket and will wear the hell out of this piece!

I'm late chiming in, but just saw that the preorder closes tomorrow.

Looking for another jacket. Trying to think of something versatile. I have a navy suit, navy hop sack jacket, mid grey cashmere jacket, and the donegal Vitorio in midnight (all ep), as well as a lbm 1911 linen/cotton off-khaki jacket.

What do you think would help round out things? Obviously no more blue is needed yet, but would a brown tweed (orange Julius or Allister,s ancient) be wearable for a Latin teacher, and then maybe later in life if I can find something that pays more? Or something else?

Have you thought about Grey Harris tweed herringbone?  I would think it would be quite versatile and at this price is a great value. Or maybe the oxford grey or pearl grey flannel.

I think a brown heavyweight would fill a distinct slot in your wardrobe. Everyone has jived on the OJ; my personal favorites of what's left would be the Glaswegian or Burning Down The House

So I've been on the hunt for the koi shirt offered awhile ago and finally found one on grailed in a sz small. This is my typical Epaulet shirt size (albeit, I'm on the border b/w small/medium due to lifting but go for the slimmer fit). When I tried this one on, it felt a little slimmer than usual. Did these shirts tend to run slightly smaller than usual (for anyone that owns one). Not sure if it was dried and shrank a bit from the previous owner. Does it look too small to you guys?

Yes and no ... Yes, in my experience the Koi shirt runs slightly small, and no, it looks like a good if not great fit to me.

To expand on that, I purchased this shirt new a few years back and it has only ever been cold washed and hung dry. As a medium/small in EP shirts, the Koi shirt is probably the slimmest fitting of all the EP shirts in my wardrobe (including the ones purchased as a size small) - it already was when I bought it, and definitely shrank a little even with very gentle washing. As it happens I was in the LES shop last August when another customer was asking Dylan a similar question about this shirt. Congratulations on picking one up - it is still one of my favorite shirts.

To throw a question back to the esteemed readership of this thread (and the EP folks). The clock is ticking on the EFF event and I am still dithering about purchases... I'll probably order the toasty herringbone Harris tweed as a suit (-10deg C in Beijing as I cycled to work so the trousers will certainly get used ...),  and tempted to order also a lightish weight blue blazer.

Any thoughts on whether the midnight seed stitch would work as double breasted jacket (w/ patch pockets to keep it on the casual side)? Also very tempted by the steel and sky windowpane tweed  - I was hoping for a bonkers linen windowpane, but probably a good thing for my wallet that there wasn't one!

Edit: The Harris tweed grey herringbone is also a great choice - but I already have this as a 3/4 length EP coat (I think the "Wakefield") - seen here slightly stretched over an EP shirt and the purple Heirloom cardigan ...

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I have this shirt, and it does feel smaller than usual. I usually take EP shirt size L, and the Koi shirt in L felt more like a slightly bigger M to me. This worked out well for me since I'm kind of between M & L.

I think it looks fine on you, but perhaps you are sacrificing some comfort/mobility for a slim fit?
