I believe tan horn but I'm not 100 percent sure
For liner I went with the light blue and white thin strip that almost looked like seersucker
Noob Question for Frank and Mike(and anyone else interested in this fabric) if they wouldn't mind: Would this Madras sportcoat be considered trad and preppy like most Madras SC's?
That isn't my style so I was wondering if the coat could be worn in a way that would not look preppy at all, but rather funky cool and modern? Sort of like a ts(s) or Sage De Cret blazer...... Wearing the coat with denim or chinos?
Dylan isn't sporting this one so it's hard to tell...
Thanks! You as well. It was the sleeper hit of the bunch for me. I waffled and waned between tan horn and brown, and then went with the brown. Will I regret it???
Did the deep purple liner, as my two favorite necktie colors are green and purple, and I wanted to see the two colors together. As it's an unconstructed shoulder and therefore 3/8 lined, there's very little liner anyway.
It all depends on how you wear it. If you wear it with a blue BD and bowtie like this guy then yeah it looks a bit trad. But if you wear it with white jeans or well-tailored Walt shorts (gasp) or well-cut swim trunks or linen Driggs and any solid or striped shirt you desire, then you're in business any way you want.
Also did this. What config did you get. Also was it a mistake to get smoke MOP buttons?? Think they might be too tonal against the gunmetal fabric, you know?
