Grey herringbone ordered!

That's really a staple product. I outgrew the one I had a couple of years ago and my local shop always wants $800+ for theirs and it's from Southwick to boot! On the rare occasion one of the grey herringbone sportcoats make it to the end-of-season sale, they are never in my size. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Okay guys! Flannel, Tweeds, and Heavyweights are done.

If you need something super-versatile, then the Oxford Grey Flannela and Pearl Grey Flannel are pretty much unbeatable. They work as separate jackets or trousers too. Our usual in-season MTO price would be about $900 for the coat and $1250 for the suit, so this is a great discount. You'll have plenty of cold season left to wear it as well.

We've got two more categories: Medium weight (typical suiting) and Lightweight (Fresco & Linens).

Outside of that, they'll be the flash items which are just ends. They'll go up one after another (like our trousers) and each one is a distinct one-off. Most of them can make a suit, but we'll note if there's only enough fabric for a jacket.

Also, we'll be in the actual fabric warehouse again around 1PM, so we can shoot little videos of specific fabrics that we want to show off. More content will be coming your way.

Amazing fabrics. Steel and sky looks like it would make up beautifully

I have the LP Baby Camel from two years ago I think. If Camel hair is like stubble after not shaving for two weeks, baby camel hair is like... one week.

Has anyone done the Harris Tweed with an unconstructed shoulder? How did that work out?

For wear over sweaters as "outerwear" , did you size up?

It is the best fabric that we've ever offered. Perfect blue color, with a multi-speckle weave. Soft as hell. Boss as a standalone jacket or a suit. We have enough for seven suits. We'll have it online shortly and I'll let you guys know. It's a perfect mid-weight flannel.

Ok you sold me. Snagged a suit. I thought it was going to be 795 though. Came out to 845. Did I do something wrong?

Did you add working cuffs?

I have a Southwick jacket in Foggy Bottom (a very heavy tweed) with an unconstructed shoulder and I really love it. Harris Tweed has enough weight to drape very well with or without construction.  I'm thinking of getting a flannel suit the same way if I could just stop talking myself out of going to find my wallet....

@SteveH35 thank you! You're gonna love it. And yes, the $50 upcharge is for working cuffs.

A lot of people have - it makes up great in the soft shoulder. And if you're talking a thin-ish merino or cashmere sweater, then no need to size up. Harris jackets naturally make up larger. I woudn't advise anyone sizing down though.
