Hey, Donegal overshirt sizing question. A change in office attire has me thinking one of these would really fit into the rotation. Size wise I'm typically 16/35. My only shirt from Epaulet is one of their washed chambray shirts, which is in XL. Mike suggested going with the XL since their washed shirts run a smidge small. Should I go L or XL in the Donegal overshirt? Based on measurements I'd say large, but thought I'd ask here. Help appreciated. Thanks!

I'd say, if you intend to wear it as an overshirt as designed, buy the XL. If you're wanting to wear it as a shirt on its own, it might be safe sizing down. Generally though, I would trust Mike's sizing recommendations based on the character of the piece and the general consistency of fit across all of their products.

It's about how you want to wear it. Another opinion, going in a rare decision against Mike's recommendation... I wear an XL in Epaulet and prefer an L in the donegal overshirt. It's a lighter material, and I hate lighter overshirts flapping in the wind. It fits fairly generously across the chest (23"+). Although I wear a lot of workwear-styled gear, I prefer a 1/2" - 3/4" of shirt to show under overshirts. So the relatively short sleeves weren't an issue for me.

@plato you could probably do both, but I'd recommend the 40, especially given your jacket size.

@eljlakers this is definitely going to happen! I'm actually just waiting on my dude to make up our Illustrator templates for the Running Shoe so I can do proper mockups. I think it would be rad to offer a mixed media makeup like this.

You guys will see a lot of changes rolling out on our site in the next few months. Although we'll maintain the stock biz that you know and love, we're going to become a lot more organized with preorders and group buys. On a monthly basis, they'll be a bunch of ways to interact with us (stock, MTO, GMTO, group buys, EFF) and they'll be both constantly refreshed and laid out (loosely) in a calendar.

I don't even know where to start. The leather looks amazing, I love the styling and color, it already looks broken in, the fit is perfection, and the whole look is just great

@docalden2013 agreed with @avsmusic1 - that jacket is perfect on you! Thanks for posting up the pics. It's turning into a great winter piece with the milder weather that we're having in NYC.

@duff406 go for the Large, I think that's going to fit you great.

That is a great idea to help us map out purchases/spread the cash.

Of the Alden Pre-Orders, only the Ironsides have arrived right? Not the Tyrols?

Yes and yes. @Mike usual size from your sport trainers? Epaulet is very dangerous for me.
