To those who have the Heirloom cardigans in stock 38, what is your physique? I'm 5'10" with 38" chest. Pretty much wear small in most things and some in medium. I'm eyeing a 38 but not sure if the sleeves will be a tad bit short.

Thanks!

I'm 5'8" 155ish (pre holiday indulgence) and the 38 fits me perfect.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays!!!

Bought a pair of the clearance Wilshires today and realised I bought a pair of the original run on Christmas Day 2 years ago. Happy Wilshire Day!

Also my missus got Tennis Lows for her Christmas present today and was delighted. Considering she thought she was getting Stan Smiths she's well chuffed.

[edit: These are darker in real life, more like charcoal. They look more ash-colored in the photo. Someday I'll get a real camera.]

@loxo thanks so much and glad that they arrived to you safely!

@turkey_sandwich I believe that this is the first Unfinished Horse ride in Iceland. Looks great!

@wj4 I'd be pretty sure that the 38 would work for you in size and length OTR. If the sleeves are a little short, they can be stretched out a bit manually. But I've sold a lot of 38's to guys your height & weight.

:). Do you think she knows I love Epaulet??

Excited to meet the team (Mike, Dylan, Sam) in NY.

@wigglr that's awesome! Drop us a line when you have your dates lined up. I think that an official karaoke night is in order!

Merry Christmas!

@StanleyVanBuren you know that Christmas is serious when you're wearing shades indoors. The trousers look as festive as always!

@MSchapiro I think that all of the remaining ones are in Brooklyn. We'll actually be open there on Monday, but closed the rest of the week until Saturday. Manhattan is closed straight through to Saturday.

Hertling Holiday Party Pics

As many (probably most) of you guys own at least one pair of our trousers, I thought that you'd dig some behind the scene pics from their holiday party. Adele and I made it over this past Wednesday and it was a great time.

^ This is the main team. From left to right:

Anthony - the head cutter and a lifelong resident of Little Italy. He cuts every MTO trouser personally

Joe - the operations manager who oversees most of the logistics at the factory

Julie Hertling - head honcho, founder, and the absolute best guy in the clothing industry.

Nicky - lead tailor who teaches all of the new recruits

Andy - the vest maestro. If you have a Hertling vest, Andy made it.

* You know my mug already *

Wu - second cutter and Anthony's second in command

^ And here's a quick fit pic of the Gable trouser in real life. I absolutely love these trousers. The shirt is an Individualized MTO with a curved cutaway collar and flap pocket. Tie is an Ancient Madder Epaulet one from FW13. Shoes are Navy Shell Edward Green DM's. Watch is an "Occhio Di Tigre" two-tone GMT Master.

2) Fit has to be perfect

And understandably so. Everyone wants that perfect fit on a jean, and it's very personalized. It's just not realistic to stock one fit of jeans and expect it to work for a lot of guys. You have to commit to a jeans program with a few fits.

Agreed 100 times over.

I previously ordered the gray Wilshires in a 36 (my rivet size) and a 35. I kept the 35 and have liked them, but they weren't a perfect fit.

To take advantage of the final sale, I grabbed an indigo pair in 34. Fucking perfect fit. Perfect. Argh!!! Thankfully, I acted quickly enough to grab a second pair of 34s.

Thanks for the great sale. I'm sorry it took their death for me to learn how awesome the Wilshires were.

thanks for buying those size 34, I have been debating on buying it since I saw the sale but I could not justify it as I just purchased 4 pairs of various jeans.

Saved me from my daily refreshing misery :D

Ha. There was still at least one pair left after I grabbed my second pair. Someone else saved us both!
