Thanks @CanadaCal! My guidelines for pulling the look off are 1) having sufficiently slim/tapered trousers and 2) having little to no break, or straight up showing some sock.  As long as those boxes are checked I find that the look tends to work.

Sorry for the inventory issues guys - we've got a permanent fix coming for this coming in 2016.  There might still be the occasional hiccup but it should eliminate 99% of the errors.

Size 34 riven chinos fit me PERFECTLY, but sounds like I need to take a size down for the jeans?

@Dillardiv Some people size down in jeans to accommodate for the eventual stretching in the waistband - denim tends to stretch more than other fabrics, including other cottons.  I'd say that if you have some room in your rivets you can probably size down but if the rivets are fitting very closely on you then you might want to take the same size.

@clarksdb Agreed - in fact I'd contend that dudes (probably not in this thread/community but in general) don't wear enough green.  I find that it is one of the easiest colors to match, including with black which is a rare attribute for an earthy tone.

@budapest12 These are the 14 oz Kaihara - the red stitching is a bit thicker on these (vs. the Cone).

Hey everyone! We shipped the HELL out of New England Ends shirts - they came out awesome. I'll have pics to show you later today.

In the meantime, two crucial stock announcements:

OVERCUT : HEIRLOOM HANDKNIT SWEATER: $243

After tallying up all of the preorders, we've got a few overcut pieces. There's one 38 in Cinnamon, Ecru Nep, Black, and Cassat. And a 42 in Cassat.

NATURAL CHROMEXCEL INNSBRUCK INDY BOOT: $585

I just took an in-store return on a size 10.5D. It was bought as a gift, but the wrong size for the recipient. I feel that we had a few dudes asking for that. So if you take either 10.5D or 9.5D, we've got one unit left of each.

@epaulet Mike is that cassat 42 or 44. Site says 44 in the drop down menu. smile.gif

I would totally buy those 10.5 but 3 pairs of unplanned shell purchases this past month makes me think this pair would be the divorce trigger.

@Mike would you recommend a 36 for those who wear Epaulet shirts in Small? Ive gotten a bit bigger not sure if the sweater would fit in 38.

FWIW I typically wear a small EPNY shirts. I do have broad shoulders and chest. I went with the 38 and am happy with it. I probably could've gotten a 36 and it would've stretched a little but I think you'll be fine with the 38.

thanks! accurate/consistent. Mike has yet to be wrong for me on shoe size equivalency recommendations. I wore a size 8D in US dress shoes, back when I had any, and I wear a 7UK in Carminas, 40.5 in the tennis trainers, and a 7.5 in these, all of which are equivalent to a size 8 according to Mike (and listed on the product desc).

@badsha the sizing is pretty easy on this piece, and a lot of guys can truthfully wear two sizes. I think that you'd have no problem wearing either, and the 38 would not look to big on you. I actually just had a guy in-store buy both a small EPNY shirt and a 38 Heirloom.

I just ordered a pair of Natural Chromexcel Innsbruck Alden Indy boots about 6 hours ago. I am looking forward to use them during my field work in Africa from January through March and during 2016. Although I own a number of Alden Indy boots from other shops, these are my first pair of Alden Indy boots from Epaulet and I am very glad I was able to obtain this edition. I have been following Epaulet closely since they produced the Alden Indy The Officer. I had a great conversation with Mike today. Mike was very friendly and he was very kind with his time. I know this is a very busy time of the year but Mike was very gracious in talking with me at length over the phone. Thank you Mike for your time today. I really think that Epaulet's Natural Chromexcel Alden boot edition is one of the best ever made. If Epaulet brings back The Officer edition, I am committed to purchase two pairs. Overall, thank you Epaulet and Mike! I wish all of you at Epaulet the best for the Holidays and new year.
