Vass double monk group MTO! Can you order a narrow width for these, or do you need to pick one of the sizes available online? Also, will the 15% discount work on other items if I add them to my cart, or do I need to call the store for that?

EDIT- I'm an idiot, I see the width choices on the site

Stopped by the Manhattan store today, walked out with a nice pair of Rivet chinos. But the standout for me was really the Walt trousers -- the only thing I can really say about them is this:

In addition to suede monks, grabbed the blue microcheck Walts and the red scarf Rob is rocking a few posts back. Good stuff....

I have to ask myself now, do I deserve a Barena? I skimped on the duffle coat in favor of a utilitarian Fjallraven for this year's coat.

Just pulled the trigger on the Slim Walt Trouser Navy Micro-Houndstooth on sale for $165 … I've been wanting those since they came out … unfortunately, it looks like I was charged the regular price :(

Must be a glitch in The Matrix?

Yup, all of the VASS Group Buys & Personal MTO's can be ordered in medium, narrow, or wide.

And the 15% discount offer still stands. Anyone who buys into one of these group buys will receive a personalized, non-transferable discount code for 15% off their next purchase.

Mike, do you have to size up to XL on the Bartlett?

No, the size Large fits me like a glove. So do our shirts in Large. And I take a 41 in Southwick and Samuelsohn, although I could also wear a 40 with a bit of constriction.

He Mike,

Is the Santa Monica store getting the Bartlett jacket?

You know it! We've got full stock there in both colors

Thank you sir! Email us your details and we'll get that sorted for you immediately. And if this happens anywhere else then please let us know. When we mark things down we have to do each size individually, so it's possible that a variant here or there might still be full price. We'll put through an adjustment for you

Hey guys,

Thanks for your patience! My apologies for the delay with this - I wanted to iron out all of the pricing and import procedure before we went live with these group buys. And I'm happy to say that we can offer better pricing on them :):

We put together three different makeups to get things started. There's been a lot of enthusiasm about museum calf, so the Gold Double Monk was a given.

1000

VASS Group Buy Double Monk F-Last in Gold Museum Calf
Deposit: $410 / Final Price with Lasted Trees: $825

And the Alt Wien was our best-selling style in store and via individual MTO's, so we thought this would be a killer item to offer in Antic Cognac Shell...

1000

Group Buy Alt Wien in Antic Cognac Shell Cordovan Deposit
Deposit: $525 / Final Price with Lasted Trees: $1050

And here's something special that we saw at the factory. There's been a lot of enthusiasm around the U-Cap design, and this customized version was a one-off piece that they were making for a specific customer. Note that arc of pinking and perforations to set it apart from the pack. This is going to be glorious in Dark Brown Museum Calf!

1000

Group Buy Custom U-Cap F-Last in Brown Museum Calf Deposit
Deposit: $410 / Final Price with Lasted Trees: $825

As always, we'll be happy to answer any questions that you guys have on sizing and leathers. And we'd love to hear any suggestions for more styles!

Trying to decide between U Cap and DM. I think U Cap is winning...design is insane.

Trying to do my best wj4 impersonation (not near as good), as Epaulet lands in the dirty south on this cool and beautiful fall Friday morning. Wyatt, ducks, and Carmina antelope.

I have the same dilemma. (And no, the correct answer is not "buy both.") The monk is more versatile, but the U-Cap is more "special." Question for the peanut gallery: Would you wear the U-Cap with an odd jacket and trousers, or just with a suit?

Why are the Carmina suede Double Monks on clearance? I thought they were a popular model.
