a couple shots from my recent visit:

Epaulet x Southwick navy tweed sport coat:

Epaulet New England button-down shirt and EPLA tennis trainers:

Checked out a bunch of the new stuff and in particular, the derby shoes turned out really nice and there a bunch of good-sounding future plans for that line. Also the new deconstructed shoulder Southwick shape turned out really nice and has a great lapel that isn't trendy-wide but is well-balanced and compliments the shoulders nicely.

When did southwick offer a navy donegal? Did I miss that??

well, it's not a donegal -- it's herringbone and I think it was from back in 2011 or 2012. It's the original Daltrey design with the goat suede elbow patches...

Tough choice between Grey and Loden Field coat but Loden won

After measuring the BB short I would indeed be a medium. I also realized I have a Gitman shirt in medium which I did need to get altered as it was big.

Just a quick question in respect to collar. What's the difference between button-down vs PT compact button down? I am debating between those and also the bond rounded button down. Which would you opt for in a floral shirt to wear with odd trousers and no jacket?

In the end, Loden is just a more fun name. I'm pretty sure that's how I made the decision even though I need a Grey jacket much more

Does anyone have pics of a navy shell sneaker? Feel like that would be absolutely killer.

Also, Mike, question I forgot to ask on the Reddit AMA: Would you ever consider stocking the Milkshake suede Indy's again? Such a badass out-there boot and I'm one of the weird people that think Indy's look best in suede/roughout.

All would work. Personally prefer a more substantial collar myself, which would be the BD collar. The compact one is a shorter collar length, like J. crew. I don't prefer it at all.

Does anyone have the details on the Hertling sample sale?  I saw it mentioned on instagram.  Is this the same event as the EFF that Mike and mentioned over the weekend ?

I know I seemed to be the only one that felt the HH GATs ran a little small, hence why I need to sell mine, but here are some comparison shots to other similar sized sneakers:

HH GAT vs New Balance 996 - both size 13

HH GAT vs Converse x John Varvatos - both size 13

HH GAT size 13 vs Buttero Tanino size EU46

Photos aren't the greatest but it's pretty clear that the GATs are between 1/2 and 1 size smaller than all the other sneakers. Just thought this might be helpful for anyone else wondering about which size to get when comparing to other sneakers.

Hertling Ends for Friends + Sample Sale

Sorry for the late notification & details on this event gents!

Tomorrow's ends for friends + sample sale will be, by far, the biggest selection of ends and off price fabrics we've ever presented :slayer::slayer::slayer:The ends for friends piece of the event will be similar to past Hertling EFF events but with a wider fabric selection than usual.

Over and above that, we'll also be doing a killer Hertling sample sale.  Most of the samples will be more traditionally fitting (some with pleats) but there will be some cuts that fit more like our pants as well (measurements will be provided).  These will mostly be sized in the 32-36 range.  And we'll also be doing vests :fonz:

Both events will occur simultaneously, starting tomorrow at approximately 11AM EST.  Dylan, Mike and I will all be at the factory answering questions and getting fabrics & trousers posted online.

Pricing will be as follows:

Ends for Friends
Wool: $200
Cotton: $165

Hertling Samples
Cotton pants: $135
Wool/Linen: $150
Vests: $140

And finally, a little teaser of what you can expect from the sample sale:
